Australian cattle dogs at Carerra

So when people enquire about cattle dogs one of the main thing they have to offer is they are very active and enjoy walking for miles
So, Darcy has an alarm clock of 5am (I know great!)
On Tuesday great weather 5 mile canal walk then playing outside back home till tea time, Wednesday morning 5am alarm call !
Thursday night is obedience training, sit, stay, weaving between other dogs, recall, walking, in front ,behind and next to dogs/people this lasts 1 hour. Friday morning mums alarm call at 6.15(Darren home from work) to wake Darcy up
So 5 hours walking and 4 hours playing = 5am
1 hour training = wakey wakey Darcey
Brain training is just as important as those wonderful walks especially if you fancy an extra hour in bed 😍😴👍

Happy 9th birthday to Indie 🎉🎉
In January 2013 we drove all the way to Chamonix to pick up our 3rd cattle dog, little did we know Indie was going to show us what a true cattle dog was, (Saffie & Scarlett were like Teddy bears of the breed, think maybe imposters!)You've kept us on our toes and still do. You tolerate Maya, put up with your kids Franklin & Violet, and found your favourite thing is going to the caravan with your granddaughter Darcy.(bliss)
Not forgetting Indie is 100% a daddies girl and is blind & deaf to anyone else when Darren's about

Went to support Retford CS fun show today, took Darcy along, all dogs were in shade, under canopies.
Darcy in the shade, laid on her cool mat, cooling bandana on, and getting up close and personal, resting her head on the fan, chillin to the max 💦🥶😍

Wow 1 year ago today and doesn't time fly Maya now has 4 CC"s, 1RCC and a BOB and gained her title back in January
Yesterday her daughter Jeannie owned by Jacqueline Tune went and did exactly the same and won BCC at just 9 1/2 months old she already has 2 RCC's and several Best puppy and is top puppy in breed WOW🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations to you both and look forward to seeing you at Leeds on Friday ❤️

Fantastic day at Blackpool Champ show
Maya (Ch Yarraman Let's Smoke Em Out with Carerra) got the bitch CC (her 4th) then went on to get BOB 🎉🎉under judge Jeff Luscott)
Also big congratulations to Jackie Tune with Jeannie (Carerra The Queen Bee - Maya's daughter) for getting Best Puppy in breed too ❤️ ♥️

Just had this lovely Post from Nook's dad
9 months old next week💙
Weighed this wee chunk yesterday, 28.4kg 🙈 Growing by the day. He's happy and healthy, follows me EVERYWHERE!
Over the past few weeks he's decided that he loves barking in the garden at absolutely nothing which my neighbours love...
So far so good, he's still great with all other dogs which is a blessing. I notice people quickly grabbing their dogs and putting the leash on when they see him as he does look like a brute but he's an absolute softy. Hope all his sisters are doing well 👍

Darcy went on her longest walk yesterday,(2+ miles) such a wonderful walker loose lead no reaction and loves walking along side her grandma , came into the kitchen to this,head on water bowl so didn't have to move when thirsty 🤣 definitely tired her out
