Hello!

I would like to start out by thanking everyone who came to visit us at the Denver show a couple weekends ago. Sorry for not posting sooner, the past few weeks have been crazy as I am sure they have been for you, especially for all of the people having to either go back to school or support those who have.

The point of this post is to clarify where we are as a business and to explain where we hope to be in the near future.

As some of you may now, DRD has come under new ownership. This happened just prior to the Denver show. We do not want this to be an obstacle for us, as we plan to continue providing excellent products for you and your pets. This being said, we may be rebranding very soon, so look for a possible name change!

As for us being a small business, we hope to expand what we offer in the coming weeks. Unfortunately we do not offer shipping at the moment, but we are diligently communicating to give this opportunity back to our customers in the near future. Thank you for understanding as we remove the cogs from this issue and obtain more information on doing this.

As rebranding pushes forward we would like to work with our community while doing so. We plan to start merchandising after a name change has been finalized. We would like to create shirts and other pieces that you all can enjoy. If anyone would like to help us, we have contacted a few partners, but would love to reach out to anyone wanting to work with us via commission. Please send us a message if you are interested.

The future of DRD is right in front of us, and we are ready to take on the challenge. We hope that you all are ready to do that with us as well!. Thank you for your support up until this point, and for your continued dedication as we settle into our home here.

Good evening, everyone! Here is your monthly Animal Analytics for May 2022.

We have many animals currently within our care! Many of them are still looking for their forever home. We have had several adoption interviews this month (particularly this last week), so if you are interested, apply now! You can reach us via email at [email protected] to request an application. Please note that we are currently working behind the scenes to update this process and make it more convenient for you!

As far as expenses, we had just over $250 in vet costs and many internal expenses! What does this mean for "internal expenses"? This month, we purchased a number of feeders from Dirt Road Dubias (we strongly recommend checking them out - they are a fantastic educational source!), lights/heating fixtures for our fosters supplied by Arcadia Reptile from Reptile Basics, as well as a handful of behind-the-scenes items to share with all of you (including new merchandise to support us for a small donation!).

Overall, we received the LARGEST amount of donations this month... more than we ever have! This month topped last month's donations by an additional $200... you guys are awesome!
