Great weekend showing goats. I took 1 milker and 4 juniors. All did amazing!

Was up against some amazing does most were second fresheners. She took 4th. But look at that first freshening udder! Could not ask for anything better!

She went 2nd in both rings and reserve Grand champion in ring 1! This was only her second time out!
Braymore Farm PrtyGirlsFlirtLikDis (Boujee) went first place. This was her first weekend out.

These 3 girls are all sired by Lil Journey Farm Flirtibird.(Flirty) owned by Bella Rossa Estate. All 3 are very balanced does. (And a little chunky-well loved)

The other 2 girls moved here last year Thanks to Amanda Weber
Castle Rock Hot Toddy went second place in her class and also went reserve grand champion! The judge could not stop talking about her amazing rear! I think you will see her a lot this year!
Quaking Canopy Girl On Fire also made her debut and took 5th out of an amazing group of 9-12 month olds!

I am so proud of the direction my herd is going and even prouder to see them in my pasture and on my milk stand each day! Thank you so much to Kalyn Rushing Whitney for Helping on the farm this weekend and My wonderful daughter in law Cierra for killing it at the market that I booked the same day as the show and my amazing husband John for talking care of all the animals and milking when nobody else could!

We completed our first Milk test this week and our 2 high producers were a FF Lulu (Bella Rossa Estate She’sAFlirt) with 3.6 pounds and Blue (Iversi Blue Print) at 4.7 pounds! So thrilled with our girls and their production as most are FF or Second freshener with singles last year. Working toward goat goals this year!

So thrilled with this FF udder! She is 4 weeks fresh. Bella Rossa Estate She’sAFlirt. Thank you again Samara Groves for letting this wonderful doe come to Braymore Farm! She earned her dry leg in her first show so Hopi v to finish her this year! She is on Milk Test and will do LA this year.

Last Sunday Braymore Farm was fortunate enough to be able to gift over 90 bars of Goats milk soap for the residents of the springs at Simpsonville. A local senior center. We are so blessed to be able to give back to our community! Makes our hearts so happy!

We went to the Carolina classic goat show today that was hosted by Teena Bagwell. To say it was a beautiful venue is an understatement! I took my 8 year old grandson and he showed for the first time and did an amazing job! I could not have been more proud of him for taking 3rd and 4 th among some amazing animals. I showed as well and both Lulu and Medley took 3rd place in their classes. Clair got 8th place in a class of 26 I think. The judge said he lived everything about her just needed her to grow a little. Thank you for everyone’s help! Megan Jane Hillard for letting me use your trailer, Bella Rossa Estate for entrusting me with Lulu, Clair and Bella that I showed today, Little Journey Farm Dairy Goats for entrusting me with Medley. She really behaved better than the rest. Stacie Turner Poole for your help and encouragement today. And Sandra Laylock for making sure Bryson and I were in the right rings at the right time. Bryson said he loved it and can’t wait to show again!

Our first show and LuLu took Grand Champion! Lillian and Clair got 3 rd and 4 th in their age group. To say I was proud is an understatement!
