We had a lovely visit today from Caroline Clarke and her wonderful children Chloe and Hayden and Toffee the dog. Chloe climbed the Sugarloaf for the animals here and put some of her Communion money into the pot. She presented us with €120. We are so happy that children are being taught the value of adopting doggies from a young age. Toffee was adopted by Chloe and her family. Thanks to all who think of the animals here🙏

Some new onsies for Harley. When you have CH and alopaceia it is really hard on the skin. If I relax his regimen at all his skin breaks out in spots and sores and gets very scabby. So a bath at least once a week often twice in special shampoo. Moisturiser every other day and his little onsies to protect his skin, which need to be changed regularly. Sometimes twice a day. Hence the new ones. He can go through quite a few in a week. But isn’t he worth it.

Arrangements for Sunday 7th July
We will meet in Gorey Town Park at 11am to leave at 11.15am to down Esmonde Street and we will pop by Bramble Cottage Kitchen where Debs and staff will love to meet us and they have gorgeous pupcakes, puppers ice-cream and doggy biscuits on offer, after our SOS beag we will head back to the Park and hopefully the houndies will get the opportunity to have zoomies in the dog park and we can then retire to the Coffee Pod for the Hoomans treats 🐾🍩☕

HAPPY IST BIRTHDAY LITTLE TED. Hard to believe it’s nearly a year since I brought home this little lump of fluff. He was in such a state. His tiny body with his eyes popping out of his head, so damaged I was sure he’d loose them both. Hardly able to move he had to be hand fed. His little body shaking so much when he was finally able to move a little. It was months before he could sit up on his own. Even longer before he could stand for seconds at a time. In all that time he was so brave. He is such a happy hilareous little guy now. Not a day goes by he doesn’t make me laugh. The decision to take him on was the best I ever made. I love you to the moon and back my little Fluffer Nutter. Happy birthday.

Little Ted has brain damage from a blow to the head when he was four weeks. He is now 10 months and is doing really well and nearly walking again. He’s not in pain, he is very very happy and is being treated.
