Grim Reaper Rescue & Reprieve is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, volunteer-only animal rescue serving Northeast Ohio & born in the CLE.
Our Story: No Matter the Odds...
Somehow, hurt, sick, abandoned, and struggling animals always seem to find us. No matter the odds, we believe that every single companion animal deserves the chance at happiness and health. We do our best at matchmaking our animals to owners that are first and foremost right for them. We intend to place each individual animal in a clean, safe, loving, responsible
environment, with a human that can afford their new pets' needs. We at Grim Reaper Rescue & Reprieve take it upon ourselves to educate the importance of adoption fees, and the costs and responsibilities of owning an animal. Animals that come into our care are checked for a microchip, and put on hold for 72 hours if brought as a stray. They are then spay/neutered, vaccinated, tested for FIV/FeLV (cats) or heartworm (dogs), dewormed, and treated with preventative for fleas and heartworm before being placed into their permanent home. We are committed to nurture not just the physical well- being, but also the mental/emotional well-being of the animals in our care, and screen potential adopters heavily to make sure that families are matched with the idea animal(s). Every cent we receive goes towards our animals' care - whether it's food, bedding, enrichment items, preventative care, or necessary surgeries. Each animal is treated as if they were a member of our own families. No adoption is ever permanently closed – we have open arms to any returning GRRR alumni for any reason at anytime. Unfortunate life events should never put an animal in jeopardy. With your help, we strive to create a world with more hope and less homeless companion animals. These vetted, 8 week old, litter trained, soon to be spayed/neutered kittens are both available to take home ✨TODAY✨
The rest of their litter has “see-ya later bye’d” and these two, (NOT BONDED) kittens are still awaiting their home.
💫Yes, they’ll be fine with dogs they have grown up around one and are young enough to learn and adapt.
💫Yes, they will be okay with children—as again they are adaptable—and if your children are taught animal handling manners (which we will be happy to help with) then rest assured you’ll be just fine!
💫And yes, they like other cats and kittens. ♥️

Here ye, hear ye! Helloooooo esteemed members of high society (and cat lovers alike), gather 'round! We are excited to present not one, but THREE delightful, 8-week-old vaccinated, tested, dewormed, litter trained, kittens in need of a forever home!

💃🏻 First, we have Francesca!
This sweet lady is akin to a playful debutante at her first ball—dazzling and full of spirit! One moment, she’ll be gazing up at you with those enormo eyes, pleading for your affection, and the next? An unexpected foot ambush! Yes, you read that right; we suspect she might be in training for the next royal footrace! Francesca is a whirlwind of play and mischief but always knows how to turn on the charm when it’s time for pets. And let’s not forget her love for wet food—our little culinary critic is always first at the food bowl (and the last to leave, mind you!).
🌻 Next up is Colin! This shy yet endearing gentleman was once thought to be Eloise, but alas, he is Colin, the reserved prince of the trio. He may start off as a bit of a wallflower, moving with caution like a crafty noble at a ball, but don’t be fooled! Once he warms up, you’ll find him nestled by your side, purring away. He too enjoys the oh-so-royal pastime of foot wrestling and sitting comfortably upon your feet while he contemplates the trials of his noble siblings.
👑 Last but certainly not least; we present Daphne! Our very own fearless little lady! Brave as a determined debutante breaking all the rules, she tackles obstacles with the confidence of a ballroom conqueror. She leads the charge in every playful romp with her siblings, all while ensuring you remain enthralled. Daphne will undoubtedly keep you on your toes, demanding cheek scratches and purring affection in exchange for her heart. She might just change your perspective on the word ‘spoiled’—for who could resist the captivating charm of a winning princess?
These delightful kittens are on a quest to find their forever castle, and they promise endless adventures, snuggles, and giggles.

This is Squintz. 👓
Squinty boy has Microphthalmia.
But this HARDLY stops him.
We have had him since 🤏 weee baby.
He was once already adopted, then returned after an AMAZING adopter took him on—but sadly he upset the other kitty bc kitty did not want to share his house, this was to no fault of Squintz, it was contuitive to that kitties health Squintz left. 💔
So he was brought back to us.
NOWWWWW;
His eyes need revision now that he’s bigger.
He is starting to be uncomfortable.
We are pleaing for donations so we can help this guy with his little eyes ONE MORE TIME.
One will need removed, the other just retacked.
✨He is also still looking for a permanent home.
He requires very minimal “extra” care.
And he is one of our “bomb proof” animals, meaning he is perfect and loves everyone and anything.✨

Finally, we care for any breed, at any age, that presents itself in distress and nurture them to the best of our ability until they are placed with their adopter.
Foremost, every cent we receive is directly put towards our animals care whether it is for food, bedding, surgery, vaccines, medications, or toys. No adoption is ever permanently closed as we have open arms to any returning GRRR alum for any reason at anytime.
We will forever strive to create a world with less homeless animals with the help of our supporters and volunteers.
