are popular pets for lovers. Remember, your cockatiel's cage is their home, so getting the right size is important! Here's what to look for to keep your feathered friend happy and healthy:
📏 Size Matters: The bigger, the better! At a minimum, the cage should be 24x18x24 inches for one cockatiel, but larger is always best to allow more space to stretch and fly.
🚪 Bar Spacing: Bars should be spaced between 1/2 to 5/8 inches apart. This prevents your bird from escaping or getting stuck between the bars.
🛋️ Room for Toys & Perches: There should be plenty of room for perches, toys, and food dishes without overcrowding. Your bird should have space to flap its wings freely.
🌿 Safe Materials: Choose a sturdy cage made of non-toxic materials. Stainless steel is a great option, as it’s easy to clean and safe for your bird.
