Missing cat named Charlie. He is missing from the starlight trailer court. He is an orange tabby wearing a yellow collar with an orange ID tag on it.

If you've seen him or see him let us know and we can put you in contact with the owners.

If everybody would just do one thing to help, it would make a huge difference.

Dogs are freezing to death outside and facing euthanasia in local pounds. We are all in a real crisis right now and have been for awhile. All rescues and pounds are FULL and we need your help.

Start off your “New Year, New You” by volunteering to become a foster home so we can help bring more dogs and puppies into homes and out of the cold. Without foster homes, we have no places to put dogs and puppies.

Also PLEASE, spay and neuter your animals. They are breeding faster then we can save them.

This girl was running around the museum yesterday and wandered into someone's yard as well. She is now here at the pound. If she is yours please call the Town of Swan River Office at 204-734-4586 to claim her as we would love to see her go home!

This puppy showed up at Ace Hardware over the weekend and is now here at the pound. If you know where she belongs or are her owners please call the Town of Swan River Office at 204-734-4586 asap so she can get home.

This cat has been hanging around the trailer court and has been posted multiple times. He's been spotted a couple times following people across the road. We just want to ensure that there is an owner or someone taking care of him. If no one is claiming him, those who have seen him or maybe have him can contact the Town of Swan River at 204-734-4586 to have him brought to the pound to be properly rehomed. If someone has claimed him please let us know. We just want this guy safe!

"Balto has been missing since June! His family is still on the lookout and hopeful of his safe return home. If you have any information, please reach out!

Balto is a Siberian Husky Malamute cross with Alopecia. His hair is
patchy, and this makes him look like a coyote. He does not bark a lot. His paws are huge, and his tail is thin. Balto is timid and is especially scared of aggressive dogs and most males. He is also scared of loud sounds (he ran during the storm on Saturday, June 3rd).

If you see Balto - do not call his name! He will be scared.
Immediately call Sheri 306-528-7969 with the exact location seen and direction he may be going. If possible, stay with Balto and keep in your site.
Balto is microchipped 956000009577241.

Balto’s home is SW5-31-20-W2, approximately 10 miles east of Lockwood, 20 miles SW of Jansen, 20 miles north of Semans, 20 miles NE of Nokomis, 30 miles SE of Lanigan and 30 miles NW of Raymore."

This guy needs a new home!
This is a smart boy! He is learning very quickly. Not shy and skittish anymore. He is not a “barker” and is very much a people dog!
Quite a loveable fur baby!
Parentage unknown but he is less than 1 yr old, shows intelligence, was very shy and skittish but has warmed up in the 3 days he has been here. With some TLC and training would he would be a great addition to a new person/ family 🐕 Please call 204-539-2916

FOUND in Bowsman around the post office area. She is a spayed female and tattooed. Vet Clinic was contacted but no luck on who the current owner is, if any. If you are missing this kitty we can put you in touch with the person that found it.

For anyone living in the RM of Mountain... your council is actively assisting with animal control and will pay for 30% of a spay or neuter AND they have made the process very simple. Please do take advantage of this fabulous program. Please share with anyone who might be interested

I found a grey female kitten near Conrad’s (Sept 22).
If anyone is looking for her please comment and share.

I will keep her until she is reunited with her owners so she is safe in the house.

She is very friendly, cuddly and not timid at all which makes me feel like she ran away from her home. Well fed and in good health.

CATIOs - the purrfect way to keep your cat(s) safe indoors but still allow them an outdoor experience. Walking with halters is also an excellent option for a different outdoor experience.
