Scooby needs a Hero

Hey there, I'm Scooby, and I can’t believe I haven’t been adopted yet!

I’m 6 years old, 70 pounds of lovable bully breed muscle, and I’ve been with my rescue for way too long. I’m ready for my forever home!

Here’s why you’ll fall in love with me:

- I’m a sweet love bug and a Velcro boy, always following my foster mom around and giving her big, wet kisses.
- I get along with dogs, cats, and kids! Playful and patient dogs are best for me since I’m a bit clumsy.
- I’m crate-trained and know commands like “come,” “outside,” “no,” and “pants” (more on that later!).
- I love dressing up in tiny hats and costumes.
- I adore pillows and can often be found moving them around for naps.
- My hobbies include snuggles, sunbathing, Scooby snacks, toys (especially stuffies and Benebones!), naps, and occasional zoomies.
- I love being outside, so a fenced-in yard would be great for me.

MEDICAL INFO: I had a rough start when I was surrendered for euthanasia after a spinal cord injury, but thanks to excellent vet and foster care, I’ve regained almost all my abilities. I walk a bit like a clunky Clydesdale and wear a belly band due to incontinence, but my foster mom calls them my Fancy Pants! I also take prescription eye drops for dry eye, but I’m a champ about it.

I’m so deserving of a family who will love me for who I am—a funny, loving boy who just wants a chance at a forever happy home.

Scooby is not only a wonderful dog he also has a pretty awesome foster family!

Scooby is 6 years old and 70 pounds of lovable bully breed muscle! He has been with the rescue as one of their longest fosters, and is ready for his furever home!

We can't imagine what Scooby went through before he was rescued but all that matters to him now is love. (and his pillows)

My name is Scooby.
I really hope you all know me by now.
I've been in the rescue for awhile.
There's nothing wrong with me, I guess the right person hasn't found me yet.
Maybe because I have special needs?

I am a really good boy.
I like people, cats and dogs.
I'm available for adoption in several states now because I need a special person to love me.

Here’s the important part about me. I was surrendered to my previous owner’s personal vet for euthanasia when I “woke up” one morning unable to walk. The rehab vet believes I suffered a spinal cord injury. With the excellent vet and foster care that I have received I regained almost all of my functioning ability. I get around totally fine unassisted and can still climb into bed and on the couch with you. I run like the wind! I walk like a clunky Clydesdale but hey at least I can walk again. Thank you foster momma!
