The temps are continuing to be pretty bad this week! what are you doing to keep your pets cool?

REPOST - Because it certainly will be a hot one this weekend.

Our shelter has been receiving an influx of phone calls regarding pets in vehicles on a hot day. Regardless of the windows being open, a vehicle can reach extreme temperatures quickly. When in doubt, please leave your pet at home.

If you see a dog in a hot car that is in immediate danger or distress call 911 immediately.

WOOHOO! 🥳

We are so excited to announce our new date and location for this year's yard sale! With no thanks to the unpredictable weather - we unfortunately had to cancel our date last month, however we've secured Vickers Heights Community Centre so the sale is happening RAIN OR SHINE! Join us Sunday, July 28th from 9AM-3PM to see all the neat items we have to sell.

In addition, we would love to thank everyone for your donations. All proceeds made from these items will go directly back to the animals in our care.

We hope to see you there - This sale is going to be huge! 🐾

Our shelter is proud to take part in the campaign in honor of animals who have gone missing due to fear of firework displays.

Instead of purchasing fireworks this year, please consider purchasing pet food or making a monetary donation towards animals in need.

Social media has fallen to the wayside as things have gotten busier and busier these last few weeks.

As a one woman, part time business I’ve been doing my best to give 100% my amazing clients, however I have reached a point where I am not able to provide the standard of time and attention that I pride myself in.

So for the next month or so Zoomies Dog Walking will be taking a pause to reorganize, regroup and come back better than ever!

A big thank you again to all of my clients who have been so kind and understanding about this decision! I hope to see you again soon!

I was walking Cinnamon yesterday and way just in awe of how much our relationship has grown. I met Cinnamon in the summer and she was very suspicious of me! I had to work hard to gain this girls trust, and after a few weeks I remember the first day we made it out the driveway to the corner 💕 now we walk each week and she’s so eager to get out the door and walk with me 🥹.

This is a very special post for us! Introducing Zoomies mascot-in-training H.W. ! Yes the dog walker finally has her own dog 🐶 H.W. is 14 weeks of pure King Charles Cavalier cuteness! And we are so excited to have him on the team. He’s just being introduced to a leash but he’ll be walking up a storm in no time!

Hey hello to Nala!
Her family needed a little help getting this sweet girl some exercise so they filled out our Dog Walking Wait List form and we had an opening that worked almost perfect for their needs!
Nala is an energetic girl who loves her outside time. We are still getting to know each other but she already knows to wait at the door for me on walk day!
