I had the privilege of taking this sweet girl out for a walk last night. Edie is a beautiful Husky Mix and a calm happy soul! Her mama has worked hard with her on loose leash walking and it shows.
So happy to be able to help out and take Edie for a stroll ☺️🦮🥰

The temps are continuing to be pretty bad this week! what are you doing to keep your pets cool?

REPOST - Because it certainly will be a hot one this weekend.

Our shelter has been receiving an influx of phone calls regarding pets in vehicles on a hot day. Regardless of the windows being open, a vehicle can reach extreme temperatures quickly. When in doubt, please leave your pet at home.

If you see a dog in a hot car that is in immediate danger or distress call 911 immediately.

WOOHOO! 🥳

We are so excited to announce our new date and location for this year's yard sale! With no thanks to the unpredictable weather - we unfortunately had to cancel our date last month, however we've secured Vickers Heights Community Centre so the sale is happening RAIN OR SHINE! Join us Sunday, July 28th from 9AM-3PM to see all the neat items we have to sell.

In addition, we would love to thank everyone for your donations. All proceeds made from these items will go directly back to the animals in our care.

We hope to see you there - This sale is going to be huge! 🐾

Our shelter is proud to take part in the campaign in honor of animals who have gone missing due to fear of firework displays.

Instead of purchasing fireworks this year, please consider purchasing pet food or making a monetary donation towards animals in need.
