What a great time I had training with this team!
Wik is the second dog to patrol the hospital halls, following Cargo, who was the first four-legged hospital employee in the state.

I had a great time training this team! Wik is an amazing dog with enormous potential, and he's handled by an experienced law enforcement officer. I look forward to watching them progress!
The paws are being handed down at Ellis Hospital as the security department welcomes their new K-9 officer Wik to the team!

Eight-team maximum (one person and one dog) - teams rotate "floor time" with one team on the floor at a time and remaining students observing/learning. Students must bring an ample supply of rewards (treats/toys) that their dog values.
Owners should have a safe, temperature controlled setting for their dog, water/water dish, several treats &/or toys.
About the instructor:
Kyle McCraith is a Master Trainer of Utility, Explosive Detection and Wildlife Detection with The North American Police Work Dog Association (NAPWDA.com), and recently retired as Department Chair/Program Coordinator/Instructor at SUNY Cobleskill’s Canine Training and Management Bachelor (BT) Degree Program.
