Hello Hope you’re still keeping well. I love my toy my little human sister made for me now. It has been hanging in my aviary for some time but now I did get the courage to try it. And guess what…I love it. We are busy birds and so we need toys to keep our chewing beaks and intellectual minds busy. We also need some larger toys to hang on or climb to keep our muscles strong. My favourite toys are cardboard, wooden and rope toys and anything I’m not allowed😊. It often takes me an eternity to get used to a new toy but once I do I would spend all time on it until I successfully kill it😂 You don’t need to spend fortune on toys. You can easily make toys yourself from natural or household items such as cardboard, boxes, plastic bottle cups, sticks, pine cones, metal teaspoons etc. Mum or my little human sister often threads big plastic or wooden beads/blocks with cut up cardboard and milk bottle cups on a paper string. They don’t last very long, but they are cheap and mum knows they are safe for me. . All toys, but especially rope toys, needs regular checking for any signs of fray or damage to prevent us from strangling or catching our toes in it. . What is your favourite toy my friends?
