This year, Black Farmer Bae started her journey with beekeeping. Unfortunately, my hives did not produce enough honey to extract; however, the hive has been winterized and is ready to begin producing next spring.

Below are some pics of the inside of my hives.

I still have quite a bit of learning to do before I can officially be confident and comfortable with beekeeping; however, I am off to a great start. I am grateful for the investment of Brenna who has been an amazing mentor. Cheers to season 2025.

Welcome spring! My cool weather crop babies that thrive in cooler temps are ready to be transplanted outside! I harden them off for a few days by placing the babies outside for a few hours a day and then bringing them back indoors in the evening. This allows the plants to get used to the outdoors and not be shocked by the change in conditions and die when transplanted outside. Growing season 2023 loading! #BlackFarmerBae 👩🏾‍🌾
