Ready to start your year off on the right paw? 🐾 Do a good thing and make a new friend all at the same time! We're looking for TWO-WEEK foster parents for our pups! 💙

We're expecting to see hundreds of lost dogs come into the shelter over the next week following the New Year's holiday, and taking a pup home - even temporarily - will help clear a kennel space for those incoming dogs 🐶 Of course, fostering also gives a dog in need a deserved break and will help us learn more about how they do at home, increasing their chances of being adopted by 14 times! 🙀 Plus, you'll be gaining a new best friend and enjoying plenty of snuggles and playtime! 💙

Pick-ups start tomorrow, January 3! We'll be sending you home with pre-made packs with everything you'll need, including: food, a bowl, a toy, a blanket, and a leash and collar! 🐾

We're hoping for a two-week commitment, but if you need to bring them back earlier, we'll work with you. We're open tomorrow from 12 to 7 p.m. and would love to send you home with a new (temporary) friend! 💙

April showers may bring May flowers, but the rain we've gotten so far has pretty much given us w**ds. Weeds in your yard may make it hard for us to find all the doody left by your pups. Plus, this time of year is when our slithering desert snakes come out and like to rest in the shade of the w**ds. This isn't good for people or pups.
