Injured in the backcountry? Hours from help? We are now teaching NASAR Wilderness First Responder and Wilderness First Aid Classes! National Association for Search and Rescue has excellent WFR and WFA programs and we are proud to offer them to our community!

Wilderness First Aid!!!!

We are proud to offer the 16-hour Wilderness First Aid course by the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI). The class will be held on June 26 and 27 from 8am to 5pm, in Whitewater, CO. Wilderness medicine teaches more intervention techniques and decision-making skills than standard first aid, due to the often lengthy evacuation times. When you are in a life-threatening situation, hours from definitive care, will you know what to do?

Welcome to Ketchum Safety Training! We have been teaching safety classes for over 10 years in Western Colorado, and now have a new class: Cat and Dog First Aid and CPR! Remember, we also teach First Aid, CPR (and CPR Pro), AED, Search and Rescue Classes and certifications, Blood-Borne Pathogens, and Concealed Carry for Colorado. We can go to your location, or teach at our brand new 50' x 80' training facility.
