The 2024 HRC Spring Grand is officially in the books! HTG Instructor Clark Kennington ran four extremely challenging tests before reaching the upland.

“The grand is a special event. Yes is challenging… but, it’s supposed to be. That’s what makes the GRHRCH title mean so much. The test are difficult and the judging scale is even more difficult. But, we come back year after year in search of that coveted big green ribbon and the chance to add GRHRCH in front of our dogs names. Because for those who have ran or attended a grand… we know all too well the caliber of animal and the time invested in them it takes to achieve that title.”

Clark took fifteen dogs to the Grand and ran in a flight of over eighty. By the final series, his flight saw thirteen total passes… eight of those handled by Clark.

Congratulations to all who earned the coveted green ribbons this spring. We look forward to helping even more of you earn them in the fall!

On a roll! Our HTG instructor Lyle Steinman took not only first place at the Lost Pines Retriever Club SRS event with Jordan, but he gathered up second, third, and fifth places as well.

The proof is in the pudding! We are not only proud to see Clark and Lyle having success at these events, we are also proud to be able to share their route to success with our members.
