Hey everyone! I hope you all are having great hunting and trapping seasons!
I am currently at capacity for deer for the 2023 season, and am not taking in any more deer this season.
Thank you to everyone who has dropped off their deer with me! My turn around times might be longer, but i stand behind this process and am happy to help preserve the memory of your hunt!

A euro is a space efficient and cost-effective way to preserve the memory of your hunt!
Got a big buck but are running out of space for a shoulder mount, euro! Did you get a smaller buck and want to keep the memory without investing a lot for a shoulder mount, go for a euro! Maybe you got your first doe or 50th doe, euro! Does also make really great beaded skulls!
*I cannot take in any deer or other cervids from out of state for euros.*

I finished processing a raccoon skull and am so excited to get beading! It takes several months to get to the point a skull is ready to be beaded (or left clean as a euro) and it is so satisfying when you can get a project going!
I hand place each individual bead and a raccoon skull like this takes me approximately 12 hours to bead.

I usually just bead raccoon skulls, but i decided i needed a bare bone euro in the collection too. Especially since raccoons are one of my favorite animals to trap!

This is a dead head from about 8 years ago. I never did anything to it other than leave it outside...so i decided to clean it up and get it degreasing. I'll be sure to post the end result in a couple months when it's done!
Euros aren't just for deer!
I love to do fur bearers like beaver, raccoon, fox, coyote, etc. It is a space efficient way to display the animals you hunt or trap and use more parts of the animals!
When you have a euro done by me, it will take time. I use beetles or maceration to remove the flesh/meat and then all skulls go into degreasing. The degreasing process is an important one and the most important part of it, is time. There aren't any shortcuts for the results you get with adequate time degreasing. When time is taken to remove grease the end product is beautiful bone that will last forever.
As a result of this process it can take 3-6 months to complete a skull. It can take longer for others such as bear, and it can go faster for some animals like muskrat. What is important to me is to give each skull my best work and i can't put a time stamp on that.
I want to be upfront about the time it takes because i know there are taxidermists with faster turn around times and that can be appealing. However, the process i use i stand behind. I truly believe the wait is worth it, and i am looking forward to doing beautiful bonework for your trophy! 🦌🦫🦝🦊🐺🦦🦃
