We hope you have a safe and happy 4th of July! ๐บ๐ธ๐ฆ
Peaceful Crossings will be closed this Saturday , July 4th. However you can still leave voicemails, send emails, and send text messages! We will get back to you Sunday morning when normal business hours resume.
In the meantime, don't forget how awful fireworks can be for animals ๐ฑ๐๐๐๐น๐๐ฆ๐ - not to mention that in our dry, hot, and windy climate, they are a huge fire hazard ๐๐ฅ
We hope you have a great, socially-distanced holiday with your families, friends, and furry loved ones.
Be safe, and eat lots of good food... OH! ...and keep the corn cobs away from your dogs!

Happy Monday! We have an exciting announcement. Peaceful Crossings will be opening June 15th to provide at home hospice and euthanasia services! To help keep our practice safe, we are limiting our services to dogs and cats only for now. We do plan on offering our services to large animals and exotics in the near future as things continue to calm down and open up in the area.
Our phone line will be open starting June 8th to make appointments for the following week. You can reach us by call or text at (775) 857-6369 or via email at [email protected]

Our first memorial video is dedicated to those who shared their letters with us this week. We know your babies heard us read your heartfelt messages all the way up at Rainbow Bridge. โค๏ธ๐ Strong winds prevented us from the candle lighting ceremony, but we thought it would be beautiful to let dedicated flower petals be swept away into the stream below. Enjoy!
TGIF, everyone! Please stay tuned this weekend for our Candle Lighting Service for lost pets! There's still time to get your letters in, so please send us a message, with a letter to your pet!
We'll see you all this weekend.
Have a great evening!
Happy Hump Day everyone! We would like to take a page out of the book we reviewed this week and do something special for all you followers out there.
In the comment section below, please feel free to write a short letter to a pet that you have lost. This weekend, we will attach those letters to balloons and send them up to our loved ones.
If you are uncomfortable leaving a note in the comment section, send it to us privately via messenger! The more the merrier, so share this post with friends if you can! ๐๐ฆ๐๐๐๐
Wow! What a wonderful read and tool for anyone who may need some solitary support through their grief. Watch and share :)
Thank you for all of your support this week! Have a wonderful weekend
In 2001, Dr. Taormina started out her journey as a veterinary technician at a mixed animal practice near her hometown in NJ. In 2011, she graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, after completing her clinical year at Louisiana State School of Veterinary Medicine.
After just under 20 years in the field, she still loves what she does, and can't wait to go to work, everyday. One of her favorite aspects of her career, is the privilege of observing the bond between a pet and their human. It's such a beautiful relationship, and like nothing else in the world. This is also why Dr. T. feels so strongly about making the final steps in a pet-human relationship as fulfilling and positive as possible.
This lovely lady is Justine. She is Dr. Eryn's partner in this business and when you give us a call, she is the gal you will be talking to! Justine has been working professionally with animals since she was 18. Her favorite part of working closely with pets is the relationship she builds with their human counterparts. She is a people person through and through and makes it her mission to treat each client like a member of her family.
In her pack, she has Indiana, an 8 year old lab/ border collie mix and Brains (such a silly name, we know), her 6 year old domestic shorthair. She also has Jack Jack, a 6 year old bearded dragon, who has chosen not to participate in pictures lol. These creatures encourage her to be the best she can be every day and have taught her the meaning of unconditional and uncomplicated love. โค๏ธ๐
Happy Thursday guys! We are this close to it being Friday! (yay ๐) We would like to thank you for being so supportive. Almost 175 followers in our first week is just awesome. We're going to piggy back off of our post from yesterday and share pictures of our animals we keep in our "happy place". Hopefully these give you a good laugh and we encourage you to share pictures of your babies below! ๐

Happy Monday all! We'd like to start off this week by sharing a wonderful video you can share with people who may be struggling with the decision to let their love one go. (This is only a review and I do not tell it as well as the speaker lol!) Feel free to discuss the topic as well in the comments section below and let us know what you think!
