Lucy’s beautiful babies are 2 weeks old today! Mum and kittens are doing splendidly 👌🏻
We have 2 males and 3 females which will all mature to be chocolate in colour.

Lucy turning up the charm for the camera at the Ku-Ring-Gai Himalayan championship cat show today.

It was a wonderful day out, with 5 great judges, lovely exhibitors to catch up with and of course some absolutely divine cats!

I am pleased to say Lucy was awarded all available challenge points today and titles up to champion after this show. We are very proud of our lovely little lilac lady.

Blue boy now interviewing for a lap to call his own.
This guy is a little smoocher, his favourite place to be is near people and will keep your lap warm for hours. He’s a total sweetheart.

Despite his grumpy resting Burmese face he is the sweetest of souls and always enjoys interacting with any babies we have here. I’d like to think he imparts some of his kind and gentle ways onto the little bubs 😻

🐣 Happy Easter 🐣 I hope everyone is having a lovely day.

It’s a quiet day at home for us and the cats after a massive day yesterday at the NSW Cat Fanciers Association Royal Easter Show. What a day, what an experience!

Milo and Lucy did me sooo proud 🥰 It was their first time being exhibited at such a large scale show with huge crowds, lots of noise, microphones, clapping, dog displays in the next aisle, aviaries and squawking parrots directly opppsite them etc etc. The way they handled themselves was exemplary of the Burmese breed. I couldn’t be prouder of both of them 😻

Ch. Kanikana Mylo Xyloto (Milo) was remarkably placed by all 3 judges who he was shown under!!! He was awarded a second place, 2 x third places and was awarded best of breed by judge Ann Skilling (NZCF).

Iceblu Swan Song (Lucy) showed her little heart out and was awarded second place also under Ann Skilling (NZCF).

It was a great show, and full credit to the NSW CFA, the RAS, the show personnel and all the cats and exhibitors in attendance for making it such an enjoyable day.

Seeing as Zoey and her bubs are doing so well, I managed to duck away for a few hours to attend the Ku-Ring-Gai Himalayan cat show today. It was a lovely day out and our cats achieved some wonderful results as follows:

Kanikana Mylo Xyloto:
🥇 1st in top 5, best of breed and the ACF award of excellence under judge Nick Tricarico
🥉 3rd in top 5 under judge Wendy Hamilton
🏅 4th in top 5 and best of breed under judge Sharon Hodge

Iceblu Swan Song:
🥉 3rd in top 5 under judge Nick Tricarico
🏅 5th in top 5 under judge Cindy Grimes
🎖️ Best of breed under judge Sharon Hodge.

In addition, Milo accumulated enough points to be awarded his show champion title - our first home bred champion under our Kanikana prefix. Well done Milo 💫

We had “Iceblu Swan Song” out on the show bench for the very first time today. She achieved some outstanding results and was placed by each of the 3 judges!

🥉 3rd in top 5 under judge Jenny Weekes.

We had a wonderful day out at the Burmese Cat Society of Australasia’s annual championship show. It was lovely to see so many quality Burmese being exhibited.
Our show team did so well, and we are very proud of the wonderful results they achieved.

Beautiful sisters at 3 months of age. Not much between them, just subtle variations in colour. Both are equally divine 👌🏻
They are being desexed tomorrow and will be ready for their forever homes towards the end of July 💖
