🌲🐾We are beyond grateful for the incredible support we've received in response to our urgent call for help! Thanks to your kindness and generosity, we have been able to gather an amazing amount of supplies, including dog food, flea medicine, and other essential items for the dogs in need.

Your contributions have not only provided immediate relief for these dogs, but have also strengthened the bond of our community as we work together to support these animals. The outpouring of compassion from our community has been incredible. Because of you, these dogs will have full bellies and relief from fleas.

After meeting the dogs in person, we were touched by how sweet and gentle they are. When we showed up to deliver these supplies, the dogs looked at us as though they knew things were going to be okay now. It’s clear that the woman caring for them has given these dogs more love than money could ever buy.

These dogs would make excellent companions, and it’s our goal to find them forever homes or get them into a rescue group with the volunteer support needed to foster and find homes for all of them. Because every aspect of 7 Pups operates behind the scenes as a one-woman show, we are eager to partner with others who can help with this effort.

While we’ve made significant progress, the dogs (including the two newborn litters) do still have additional needs we hope to meet, including spay and neuter procedures, vaccinations, and treatment for noticeable skin issues. Once they are healthy, we believe they will be fantastic candidates for adoption.

‼️🆘‼️ We were contacted by a community member who has been caring for several dogs abandoned near her home in rural Hopkins County. This woman has recently fallen on hard times and is struggling financially to provide the dogs with basic necessities—specifically, she has asked for our help with dog food and flea medication.

Like many of us who live outside city limits, and through no fault of her own, this woman has taken on the burden of caring for animals she did not intentionally acquire. We want to help meet the immediate needs and offer a safety net to keep these dogs healthy and fed.

99% of the work we do in our community is funded through our own personal income. With six large-breed rescue dogs of our own to care for, our ability to help others is often limited due to a lack of funds.

This is why we are asking for your help in supporting our neighbor through direct giving. If you can, please consider donating dog food or flea medicine to this cause. Your generosity will make a significant difference for these dogs, and we sincerely appreciate your support.

While we recognize that the needs of this situation go beyond just food and medicine, addressing these basics is our first priority. Our ultimate goal is for every dog involved to be happy and healthy, receive veterinary care (including and especially spay/neuter to stop the cycle), and be adopted into loving homes. Resources in our area are scarce and we will do our best to assist with what we can - but we cannot do it alone.

There are 7 dogs, not including two sets of newborn litters. Details on the dogs' ages and weights are provided below. Any contribution is appreciated, but puppy food is preferred.

We are thrilled to reunite Roscoe with the family that has loved him for many years. Your shares and support played a crucial role in making this reunion possible.

We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the family who found Roscoe. Their willingness to foster him while we searched for his owners was an act of kindness that had a significant and deeply appreciated impact. They provided a safe and loving environment for Roscoe during this time, and we cannot thank them enough for their generosity and compassion.

Over the weekend we were able to visit our former foster pup, June (“JB”)! There is no greater joy than seeing the difference you have made in the life of an animal, and their family!

They say that dogs have a way of finding the people who need them. When you foster a dog, there’s a part of them that stays with you forever. 💚
