Hunting lines run thick in our pups. Here’s Maggie on her first ever dove hunt. She’s a natural! #dovehunting #birddogoftheday
While we’re walking down memory lane, let’s look back at when our Classic Country babies were little. They’re all big dogs now 😭
Since we are all in our feelings over how much the babies have grown let’s look back on when they were all much smaller. 😭
Training is easier than you may think. It’s all about patience, repetition, and accepting the fact that dogs don’t think or feel like us humans do. Working with your dog for 10-20 mins a day could make all the difference. Find your inner pack leader and give it your all. Both you and your dog will have a better, stronger relationship by doing so!
Rudy, still being the goofy and entertaining boy he is, tries to get every lick of his pup cup!
I’m so grateful his mama sent me this. I miss his daily antics.
Happy first birthday to our Classic Country litter. These puppies have grown into beautiful and intelligent dogs. Every last one of them have been loved immensely by both me and their families. I love that I have been allowed to watch them all grow into the amazing dogs that they are this past year!
They have found their voices and everyone has something to say.
We are getting so close to the puppies arrival!! 2 weeks until puppy count x-ray and 3 weeks until they’re here!!!! #labradorretriever #labradorpuppies #puppylove
Obedient dogs make the best dogs, regardless of breed 🤎💛🤎
Here’s a simple technique to teach your puppy not to jump. Make sure you give the command ( I used off) and reward for good behavior (in this case it’s the sit).
Here’s all the things my dark chocolate chunk has learned in the last 5 days. Desensitizing her has been both her and I greatest accomplishment. She knows her name, sit, focus, down, touch, walks pretty good on a leash and recalls almost every time. She has such a great personality and is so gentle with kids. She’s going to do some great things in the future.
Training your puppy shouldn’t be limited to just one spot. Every opportunity I get we’re going to work on something. I always keep some kibble in my pocket for that very reason. While sitting in the drop off line this morning, we worked on “focus”.
