This beautiful Deerhound used to come to my office on a farm and stretch out on my sofa every day 🥰 so, it was a pleasure to create this portrait for her owner, Lady of the Manor.

Had a lovely afternoon helping Phil improve his sketching at Eastcott Studios. Jo who owns the studios, is such a wonderful friend whose aim is that everyone who visits (whatever they create) feels welcome, has fun and leaves happy. 😁

Definitely achieving that in bucket loads Jo (and Mam's Gallery/Cafe)! ✔️❤️

Had a fab time with a couple of talented teenagers yesterday - showed one how to use Pan Pastels and, for a bit of fun, set the other some 3 minute, 1 minute, 30 second and 15 second drawing challenges. It was hilarious and both did brilliantly... Well done!!! 😁👍

There again on 2nd July. At Eastcott Studios in Old Town, Swindon most Tuesday afternoons and some Wednesday afternoons over the summer - drop in, have a chat, look around and have some fun!

Hi all, sadly the winter bugs won and my health has taken a little dive recently. Good job hospital rooms make a great studio - so hoping there may just be a slight delay to commission timings, and workshops. Please check on here for updates 😁❤️

If you would like to send in your art and get some coaching over email or WhatsApp, please do. No charge for workshop members. Donation of whatever you can afford or buy Buddy and Missy a present if not joined yet.

Or pop along to fabulous Amy Beckwith's Painting in the courtyard. She can support and guide you and may even stay and cover my session if enough folk rock up keen to have a go. Paint or make a pot with lovely Jo in the pottery studio...

Here's a CHALLENGE especially for the gothy teens at Mam's Gallery. Draw me as a superhero fighting the Grim Reaper and winning. That bit is important. Make it dark, funny, a dance, a kick off. Can include Buddy too. Paint it on a pot. Are you up for a challenge? Deadpool is my fave. I'll award prizes via Emma and Sunny... Deadline... End May

ART FOR THE TERRIFIED... 😳😱😮🎨

How do you go from thinking you can't draw to discovering your own stye and creating a masterpiece?

You learm, you practice, you get tips, tuition and encouragement on a regular basis from an established, professional artist - whilst having a cuppa and eating cake! 😋🍰☕What's not to like?

Twice monthly sessions happen at Eastcott Studios in Swindon. My next workshop is Tuesday 14th May. Amy Beckwith is also running painting workshops on the same Tuesday mornings.
