Happy happy birthday to the lady who gave me a chance, to the lady who never gave up, to the lady who found me my forever family...... happy birthday Amanda!!!! Thank you β€οΈ
Happy new year to all of Hopes supporters π
We want to thank you all for another year of support, help and advice. It's been a good year for Hope with her conquering Mount Snowdon in absolute style β€οΈ
And it's been a great year for us because she has slowly been starting to settle down a bit and doesn't get quite so excited over every little thing ππ
We had a lovely but pretty windy last walk of 2023 on the moors yesterday to see the year out and another less windy and drier walk at Meldon this morning to see the new year in, we hope the weather is kind to us in the coming months so we can get up there more regularly π€π€π€ Woodland walks are good but Hope loves the moors!
We hope you all have a lucky and healthy 2024!!
Wow! Today was the first day in what feels like forever that it wasn't raining so we headed off to our favorite place and finally managed to get some decent pics πππ
(In the last video she was supposed to run through the massive puddle for dramatic effect π)
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! ππ
We have had a great day, lots of presents, Christmas dinner, a lovely family walk, although the weather was a bit wet β but that doesn't stop Hope π
She is now sleeping it all off next to me on the sofa β€οΈ
We hope you have all had a great day!
Happy Hoppy Gotcha day to this crazy, head strong, happy, kind hearted, beautiful girl!
I can't believe it's been 3 years since Hope came into our lives like a tornado π but she has settled into such a lovely girl. Life really wouldn't be the same without her β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
Hopes having some red light therapy this evening....it's very relaxing ππ€π€
Can anybody see Hope!?πππ
Bossing it π
Hopes evening entertainment is sorted π
This is just too cute π₯° Hope has become such a chunk of muscle I need to widen her wheels π She always supervises so well when I'm doing anything to them β€οΈ Her face was quite the picture when she saw them in two halves π²
Great news......this little lady only went and absolutely smashed her target of Β£500 for climbing Snowdon, the total amount raised was........Drum Roll.......
Β£3000.74!!!!!!
I couldn't be prouder of her β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
And we want to say an absolutely massive thank you to every single one of you who donated, shared and cheered us on. Because of everyone's generosity , more lives will be saved.
Thank you thank you thank you πππ
My Mum has gone away for 2 weeks which means Duky is here to stay......I wonder if there will be any quiet time now ππ
Today is happy happy gotcha day to Hopes sister Sandy - 9 years!!! She was also a Spanish Rescue.
She's been with me through some pretty tough times and I really don't know how I would have got through without her β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
What's it like living with Hope?.......it's like this ππ€£π€£π€£β¬οΈ
I've made sure the girls have had a pretty quiet week after the amazing weekend we had π We just got back to two walks a day yesterday and this morning did our first big hill since Snowdon. Here's a little video of Hope this afternoon.....β€οΈ
Last video for a while.... promise ππ€£
Thank you so so much to each and every one of you for all your incredibly kind comments, donations and support.
This weekend has been absolutely amazing, to say I'm proud of Hope is a real understatement, she is so incredible and a real inspiration to others (she definitely was on the mountain)!
And this is her the very next day, still with plenty of energy and still living life to the fullest. I honestly don't know where she gets the energy......I can barely walk today π€£π€£π€£
It took a little longer than we thought.....4 hrs 30 mins but we finally did it!!!! ππππ
It wasn't easy in places, my eldest son Harrison was an absolute hero and carried her over the impossible terrain. To say I'm proud of her is a massive understatement. Even at the top she was passing people on the steps π

Nearly at the top ππͺ
2 miles and 1hr 30 mins in......Hope is smashing it!
The climb ahead is looking increasingly steeper π¬
We finally arrived in Caernarfon after an incredibly long 8 hour journey (with a couple of stops) π± Hope was like a coiled spring when we arrived π but a lovely walk along the river has settled her nicely. We are setting off at 4am in the morning to try and beat the heat of the day.
We will update you on the way tomorrow π
3 days to go until Hope climbs Yr Wydffa (Snowdon)!
Hopes hill training is going strong πͺ this was a big long hill at about the 3 mile point of our walk yesterday, as you can see, she's not even noticed it π
15 days to go!
Hope has decided it's time to give back, to give back to Amanda's Spanish Rescue Dogs and to help support her own ongoing costs and to do this she has decided she wants to.....(drum roll)......
Climb Mount Snowdon!!!
We believe she would be the first "wheelie dog" to do this but we also believe she is 100% up to the challenge πͺ
This will take place on 9th September and we will get some extra training in over the summer.
If anyone would like to support Hope with her adventure here is the link...

Hope has been fitted out with some lovely new boots, courtesy of Amanda's Spanish Rescue dogs. She's been having a few issues lately with her front feet and we felt a pair of boots will help protect her feet, especially as they are so important to her. Getting the right boots wasn't easy mind! There was a lot of trial and error with makes and sizes but we got there in the end, these ones seem pretty good and most importantly, Hope is happy with them πβΊοΈ
