Attending my first IACP dog training conference was a mind blowing experience. I learned so much, one being that a LOT of people love Katie's Buckles, but not many actually know me or what I even look like! So here's just a few photos of myself with some amazing people I bonded with this week, and a little more information about myself!

I became a Certified Dog Trainer with the International Association of Canine Professionals in February 2022, and a bronze sponsor for them with Katie's Buckles this year. After many years of wanting to attend the conference, the stars finally aligned this year and I cannot be more thankful. I have renewed motivation and am looking forward to expanding my knowledge and skills as a dog trainer with , a business owner with Katie's Buckles, and as a person in general. You'll be seeing more about me and Katie's Buckles as I push myself to embrace vulnerability.

If you want to learn more about The International Association of Canine Professionals, I HIGHLY suggest taking a look and becoming a member of the family. They are insanely supportive, welcoming, and a great resource.

Celebrating my good friend Smuttynose's 10th birthday! WOW does time fly. I fell in love with this boy when he was just a puppy at the My Dogs Mind Dayschool. He was my first buckle model over 4 years ago before I even had a logo! His owners are the sweetest people and gave me such valuable advice when starting all of this, and now I even rent a business space from them. I'm so thankful to have the pleasure of knowing such sweet souls. Anyway, Happy Birthday Smuttynose you're the best.

4.0mm buckles and a quick update!

Thanks to everyone for your support and patience lately! I finally moved the business out of my home and into an amazing workspace. I also got an extra set of hands working so we are catching up swiftly and apologize for any delayed responses.

Keep an eye out for pictures of the new space! I'm really excited to share it once it's set up nicely.

Safety connectors are back in stock! 1/4" width black nylon securely stitched rope with two strong bolt snaps. 7" total length, 3" clip to clip.

This is how I like to set them up, flat collar to the dead ring of the prong.

Meeko started training with me this week and I'm excited to see what this boy can do! His owner is so into training and has already learned a lot from some great content creators. We made the switch from a front loading harness to a 2.25mm chrome collar with a black Katie's Buckle! What kind of sports do you see in Meeko's future?

Collar Restock!!!

A limited number of chrome, black, and curogan 2.25mm collars are back in stock and I'm not sure how long they will last! I also have chrome 3.0mm and black stainless steel 3.2mm available. Curogan 3.2mm is expected soon.

Proud to say that my buckles are in 38 states and Canada! I'm really excited to share this project I've been working on while staying home. I cut the map poster to size, glued, and coated onto a corkboard. All the pins are color-coded and I just need to add a legend in the corner. Do you see your pin? 😁🗺📍 Tag yourself!

*NEW PRODUCT ALERT* Antique Brass buckles for Curogan Herm Sprenger
The curogan is a strong copper-tin-alloy without any nickel. These collars will not rust, they avoid discoloration of fair haired dogs, and are perfect for dogs with allergic reactions to nickel. The curogan will darken when exposed to outdoor environments, as seen in pictures 4, 5, and 6. The antique brass finish is a fine addition to these great collars.

All buckles with holes designed for 2.25mm collars will in fact fit ANY 2.25mm collar 😁
