There is a lot to consider when placing a litter. I have applications from all different kinds of homes for my current litter. Some litters are more suited to pet/show homes and some more suited to hunting/performance homes. At the end of the day, each puppy will reveal their individual self…instincts, drive, strengths, attitude, apptitude, likes, dislikes, level of forgiveness to perceived wrongs, recovery time etc…
I won’t know until about 7 weeks old WHO each pup is. I won’t know until they are 8-9 weeks old what their future structure will be. Then to decide which pups’ DNA should be brought forward in the future.
Getting it right is difficult. I’m not breeding just to sell puppies. I’m breeding to make sure that the next generation is as good or better than the last. To preserve the temperaments, instincts, intelligence and health that I’ve enjoyed with the vizslas I’ve been blessed with from other preservation breeders. Please trust the process. Some things shouldn’t be rushed. Some things are worth the wait.

We had a successful day at the Wenatchee Scentwork trial yesterday.

💚 Wren ( Brock x Dazzle) earned his Excellent Interior title with a🥈2nd place time and his Excellent Containers with a🥉3rd place for time!

He is doing another trial in Monroe in a couple weeks and he gets to move up for his first run at Master Level
