Hello everyone and welcome to Jess’ Pet Care! ❤️

I thought I would create a post about myself and how I got here! It started back from when I was little, I’ve always had a soft spot for animals of any kind! When it came to changing schools in year 8 I decided to go to a school which specialises in animals and agriculture, so I could learn about all the different industries I could go into which included animals as it’s what I loved doing.I enjoyed every minute of it and especially looked forward to the animal care lessons and the work experience involved with this. When it came to the end of year 10 I completed my animal care level 2 with a DDD*. When it came to the end of year 11 I decided I wanted to stay and go to their sixth form and study a higher level of animal care. I learned so much about all the things you could think of and at the end of the 2 years I gained a level 3 animal care diploma with a MMM. A pet care business was something I had always dreamed of and decided to take the plunge when I finished sixth form. However, this coincided with the coronavirus so I decided this was a good opportunity to study for an animal first aid qualification. Whilst doing this I also researched all the things I would need to have to make this business feasible.I got all my insurances, bought a van and had it fully converted. To date I am very happy that I could make this possible and I look forward to all the lovely pets I get to look after with love & care.
