Bergamasco & Maremma della Terra Pecoricca

We are planning to mate Allegra della Terra Pecoricca to Bergische Bergamasker Elwood. Elwood is a very nice, friendly, relaxed boy who has produced 2 litters so far(die Keksdiebe, Sylvia Thiel and Cielostellato, Switzerland)
Allegra is a playful strong bitch, very nice at our sheep. She works big and small flocks, has succesfully achieved NHAT and HWT Tradional Style. We expect these pups to be active, sportive and quite signed on to their handler. No couch potatoes!
This litter meets all conditions and regulations from the Dutch breeding club. We choose this combination as we think it is important to vary as much as possible in a rare breed, not using only a few males over and over. Elwood his temperament and health status plus the good testimonials of him, have convinced us to choose him for Allegra. We are very grateful that the Seitz family will let us have him for her.

Emma(5 mo old) and Melanzana at work. All the Alcide x Nicoletta pups have found a nice place with animals to protect in the Netherlands and Italy.

Bergamasco pups, 6.5 weeks old. Well socialised, used to other dog breeds(Polski Owczarek Nizinny, German Shepherd, Working Kelpie, Maremma, Carpatin)
They get in contact with cats, poultry, lambs and adult sheep aswell.

Blossom is a very loving and caring mum, pups are doing really great! Growing like weeds!

Pastore Transhumante Melanzana started whelping last night, she brought 10 pups in the world, 8 girls and 2 boys. Sire: Pastore Transhumante Alcide.
Both dogs work as livestock guardian dogs in our flock of 300 sheep. They live with the flock permanently yearround, as we have a pack of wolves here in the area. We graze the flock in nature preservation area with many tourists around. The dogs are not agressive towards humans unless they try to enter the sheepcorrals without us being present. They will bark at dogs on a leash, dogs without leash are not allowed in the area. All animals and unknown humans approaching the sheep corrals, will be ‘told’ to stay at a respectable distance.
Pups grow up with sheep and poultry and will get to know our dogs and cats. They will get to know our big sheepbarn, metal fences, hot wire, tractor, quad, bicycles, cars and animal transporters. They will be dewormed to scedule, chipped, fully vaccinated, European Passport, paperwork from Dutch Kennel Club. Please pm if you want more information or email: [email protected]

Ultrasound test confirms our Blossom is in pup to Rastacowboys Flyn Ciro! Pups expected start May 2023.
Yesterday Blossom had her last full day of work at the flock, maternity leave starts next week!

Capitano della Terra Pecoricca, almost 12 weeks old. Full paperwork, well dewormed, fully vaccinated, chipped and with European Passport. Raised here with kids, cats, dogs of several breeds, sheep and lambs. Capitano is a cool, strong dog, he likes some action in his life.

Puppies della Terra Pecoricca!

We are very happy to announce that Grappa di Valle Scrivia was succesfully mated to Calipso della Luna di Lana!
Ultrasound has confirmed Grappa is carrying at least 5 pups!
Grappa is due the 17th of march 2020.
Both parents hips A.

Calipso(11.5 years old and a very healthy and friendly lad) is owned by Anke Callsen(Rastacowboys Bergamasker), elbows, heart and eyes clear.
Calipso helps out with the Scottish Highland Cattle and is a succesful showdog.
Easy and tolerant with other dogs.

Grappa is an excellent worker in therapy and coaching, she is also a strong worker at my flock of 150 sheep and 20 goats. She is a perfect dog in the house, well behaved, easy to have around. A very agile dog that loves to jump, she loves dog parcour.

Pups will have European passport, DNA profile, will be chipped, vaccinated, regularly dewormed, and have full registration at the Dutch Kennel Club.
All pups and their owners will have a free visit and advice from one of the best groomers in the Netherlands:
Trimsalon Natural Touch, near to our place.

All pups can be started at our flock, sheep and goats.
Pups will be very well socialised, including kids, other breeds of dogs, chickens, geese, cats. Pups will be in and outdoors. Car trained, box trained.
