A small animal farm just outside Stonewall at Rubber Ducky Resort and Campground. We love animals and can't wait to share them with our visitors.

Starting in 2021 we will be offering up close and personal animal experiences.

Lazy Day at the Farm UPDATE!

We will be open from 12pm until 3pm.
Please come in the main Campground driveway and around to park near the propane tank and walk through the gate that way.

We will have the fire going to warm up by and the animals will be ready for nose boops

We will have some treats available to give to all the animals but your more then welcome to bring your own (veggies and fruit only)

We hope to see you there!

Lazy Day at the Farm!
We are doing something new for this year, a few times throughout the winter we are opening up Lazy Acres Farm for visitors. The animals have told us they miss their friends and can’t wait until April to see everyone. We will be having a bonfire to warm up by and we will will have a couple surprises as well. Our first date will be January 6th time TBD keep watch for more updates.

I’ve been slacking on the animals posts 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m back and I will be making up for the time gone with a bunch of posts so get ready for lots to update you on how everyone is!

It’s pumpkin season the goats favorite time of year! When you are finished with your pumpkins and need somewhere to send them Lucas will happily take them for his friends!

Please make sure there is no paint on the pumpkins and no lights or candles inside

If you would like to come see the goats and watch them enjoy their pumpkins we can set that up
Or
We can come pick the pumpkins up from you, with this option you will also recieve a video of the goats enjoying the pumpkins!

MOVING DAY FOUR
The piggies have successfully been moved over. They are soaking up the sun on their straw.
Everyone is getting along, Jett is just as big as them now and is learning how to stand her ground when they pick on her. They also got a corn delivery and are very happy about that!

MOVING DAY THREE
We started with Milo, Archie and Where are you.
Where are you walked right into the trailer, Milo and Archie needed some assistance.

Latte and Coco had other things on their mind besides moving, we let them sit on it for the afternoon then got them in the trailer and they are reunited with Where are you and they are very excited.

DAY TWO of animal moving

Today was moving day for Cora, Snow, Mia, Rosie, Tucker & Trishy. Everyone but Trishy loaded great into the trailer, Cora took a selfie and Mia photobombed, Tucker drove the Kubota and did a great job getting them safely to their location. Trishy was picked up separately and got a special ride in the Kubota. They are now reunited with their chickens and enjoying their hay!

It’s that time of year again! Time to move the Lazy Acres Crew to their winter pens.

DAY ONE started with the chickens, my farming assistant took a break to try out the chicken swing. The chickens are now adventuring in their new home.

We ended DAY ONE with Lucas, Murphy, Pepper & Billy. It went so smooth we didn’t have time to take in process pictures but we have a final picture of them in there winter home but they are reunited with their horses and are very excited!

It’s garden cleanup time, as you are getting rid of the leftovers don’t forget about us we love leftovers of all kinds! We will share with our pig friends as well so anything and everything is welcome!

We have 3 new members to the family! They joined us about a week ago, we let them settle into their new home and now we are ready to introduce them!

As the sun is starting to set sooner, and the animals are in bed earlier the zoo will be closing at 8:30pm!

It’s not to late to book your tour! You will be taken on a private tour through the zoo and learn about each animal and their unique qualities. You will then be taken on a golfcart around to the far side of the zoo where the horses spend their days. Provided will be a baggy of treats to give the animals as well as a opportunity to give everyone a nose boop.

There’s 1 good thing and 1 bad thing about storms if your a goat! Bad thing is you don’t like to be wet so you have to hide, good thing is all the branches that fall are the best treats! 🍃

If you notice some tape on Murphy’s ear he had a glow-up! His horns are now out of his eye and he can now see all his friends when they come to visit him 🐐

We are starting up Guided Tours through the farm! You will learn everything about the animals and what it takes to care for them. And more about the uniqueness and about some of the animal’s histories. You will be able to ask all the questions you want! And we will have special treats available to give the animals! Piggy snores🐷 Can you spot all 4 piggies?

Cue the long post but it’s a very special day! Happy Birthday Mia & Trishy. Sweet Sweet girls you have grown so much this past year! Miss Mia you are a crazy girl with so much love to give, and your eyes 😍 no one else has eyes like you making you so unique. You are such a sweet girl but are super cautious about trying new things, but once you try it once there’s no stopping you. You grew up in prime winter weather with all your cousins and grew a thick skin against bully’s…Cora & Snow😂 Mia you will always have a very special place in our hearts. You are named after the best puppy anyone could ask for and will always be in our hearts. We love you Miss Mia have an amazing birthday! My Sweet Trishy I can’t help but to have a sweet spot in my heart for you. You had a rough go in the beginning months of life and turned into a house goat. You dressed up in cute clothes, went on so many adventures, wore diapers, slept under a blanket so you wouldn’t get cold, demanded treats any time someone was in the kitchen and became best friends with the cats. We cuddled every night and our bond was inseparable, you cried if i left the room which made it even harder to transition to normal goat behaviour living outside. But look at you now 1 year later, you still need to work on defending yourself against bullies. But you have grown up so much and have become such a sassy girl. You will always be so so special. You are named after the best kitty who gave the best hugs. We love you Trishy!

Emma’s babies arrived yesterday afternoon she had 4! We now have one big happy family of 9 piglets! 🐷
