Pretty good harvest of BSFL today! Only 2 days worth. They're finally taking off! I hope I can figure out how to keep them alive this winter.

I am so excited to be able to breed more of our own feeders for the lizards we keep! We already breed Dubia, red runner and orange head roaches. I purchased a black soldier fly harvesting compost bin a few weeks ago and have been just waiting for the soldier flies to find it and they finally have!! Once they are finished eating, the larvae climb up the ramps and drop into one of two collection containers and I will use them for feeding juvenile to adult dragons. I haven't harvested any just yet, but I can't wait! #lizardsofinstagram #lizardkeeper #reptilesofinstagram
