This week is National Veterinary Technician Week for 2024. I would like to acknowledge the 2 wonderful individuals that are integral to RGE’s daily life! Just a few amazing things these 2 do:
-provide me with amazing assistance in the field while working on our patients. They both have amazing horse skills!
-provide the often under-appreciated day-to-day support that makes us able to get there and have all our equipment to care for your horses.
-provide behind-the-scenes lab assistance to get those results in a timely fashion.
-provide windshield time so I can answer emails, phone calls and make follow-up plans.
-provide organizational support for the chaos of my life running a practice and being a busy mom to 2 young kiddos that think they need to be involved in ALL the after school activities.
-MOST IMPORTANTLY, these 2 provide entertainment, friendship and a source of light in my life!!

Please join me by taking a few moments to show these wonderful women your appreciation!!

Quantitative IgG results stall-side in 5 minutes! If we know we are coming to do a neonatal exam, we typically have frozen plasma in the truck in the event your newborn is lower than desired. Fast, efficient and quality services at RGE!!!

We are back! Breeding season just got too busy to make Facebook posts a priority, but things are finally starting to slow down. And, do we have something crazy for you… This was one of our cases today. Client said they had a mare that had a stick in her eye.

When mares need breeding, never fear RGE is here!

Happy Valentine’s Day from RGE!

Even though its been cold the past couple days these foals are keeping us running! This colt out of Cee’s Overture and by Yorkton was a handful for his exam, but already so correct! Congrats to Lonnie Umdenstock & Maureen Merkler!

Look at this big boy! Only 1.5 hrs old and ready for the races! Congratulations to River Ridge Ranch & Poindexter Thoroughbreds on the colt out of Aprise by the stallion Mor Spirit.

Congratulations to Bob Friest on having the first 2023 foal for the Running G Equine family! This palomino filly is out of Vivacious and is by Urge. She will be a pretty filly in the halter ring!
