the groomer last time, ⠀
Sunny became depressed ⠀
and both Sunny and Sky
developed skin infection.⠀
⠀
⠀
So, I’ve decided to start ⠀
grooming them at home ⠀
from now on! ✂️🐶⠀
⠀
⠀
For anyone thinking about ⠀
trying home grooming, here ⠀
are some items I recommend.⠀
⠀
First, the clipper
recommended by other ⠀
lovely breeders too!⠀
⠀
I chose the cheaper corded ⠀
model, and it turned out to ⠀
be the best decision! ⠀
Because beginners take ⠀
time 😅 Price: $280⠀
⠀
The clipper attachment ⠀
set was about $35.⠀
⠀
And I got three types of ⠀
scissors, thinning, curved, ⠀
and straight- $250 total.⠀
⠀
⠀
I bought everything at the⠀
Dog Lovers event, so ⠀
depending on where you ⠀
shop, prices may be a little ⠀
higher or lower.⠀
⠀
I also purchased the ⠀
grooming table on Amazon ⠀
for around $150. ⠀
⠀
A professional grooming⠀
usually costs about $100 ⠀
per visit.⠀
⠀
If you go 5 times a year, ⠀
that’s $500 annually, ⠀
and over 15 years it adds ⠀
up to $7,500 🤑⠀
⠀
It might be a bit funny look⠀
at first 😂 but we’ll definitely
improve with time.⠀

Training is ideally done ⠀
by two people. One ⠀
person knocks on the ⠀
front door, walks around it,
or makes noises, while the other
person rewards dog with ⠀
treats. If she barks, gently ⠀
lift her collar upward and say
“Wrong.” If she doesn’t bark, ⠀
say “Yes!” and give her a treat.⠀
⠀
⠀
If you repeat this several ⠀
times a day, every day, her
unnecessary barking should
decrease dramatically.⠀
⠀
⠀
Even if your puppy has ⠀
been well socialized, you ⠀
still need to continue teaching
them whenever necessary
throughout their life.⠀
⠀
⠀
Because our dogs are ⠀
precious friends, let’s take ⠀

If you’re planning a road ⠀
trip with your dogs, I highly
recommend doing toilet ⠀
training and crate training
beforehand. It makes the ⠀
whole journey a hundred ⠀
times easier😁⠀
⠀
Teach your dog to go toilet ⠀
on command, and if you ⠀
have enough space in your ⠀
car, letting them ride in a ⠀
crate keeps both dogs and ⠀
people more comfortable.⠀
⠀
⠀
Road trips are best in
cooler seasons —
when it’s safe to ⠀
leave your dog in the car ⠀
for short periods.⠀
⠀

We had so much fun ⠀
exploring dog-friendly
accommodations, hiking ⠀
trails, and little towns ⠀
together.⠀
⠀
⠀
⠀
There were hardly any ⠀
difficulties, and honestly, ⠀
having our dogs with us ⠀
made the trip more fun🥳⠀

Most days we do two short ⠀
walks ( 20 minutes each).⠀
⠀
Plus, Sunny is obsessed with ⠀
her ball 🎾 so we play a few ⠀
times a day!⠀
⠀
⠀
If your family is busy with ⠀
work or kids’ activities, ⠀
that’s totally okay🥰⠀
⠀
⠀
You can fit walks into school
drop-offs or while waiting ⠀
activities / lessons.⠀
⠀
⠀
Also! Too much walking ⠀
when they’re still puppies ⠀
can actually cause joint ⠀
issues.⠀
⠀
⠀
So keep walks enjoyable ⠀
for both you and your dog⠀
and let ball play, brain ⠀
games, and training burn ⠀
off the rest of that ⠀
energy 😆✨⠀

So in my opinion, ACD⠀

old and continuing at least ⠀
until Obedience Level 4. ⠀

homes, they did not cry ⠀
in the crate overnight, ⠀
didn't need to go to the ⠀
bathroom during the night, ⠀
and were able to sleep ⠀
peacefully until morning. ⠀

Crate training offers more ⠀
benefits than you might ⠀
think. ⠀

Today, I would like to share ⠀

sleeping.⠀
