they eat, which way we walk ⠀
on our walks and how far they
have free rein to roam. ⠀

Are you waking up in the ⠀
morning because your dog
decides it’s time or feeding
because your dog demands it ⠀
or walking because your dog
is pulling you down the street?⠀
⠀
Ignore the whining to let ⠀
it out of the crate first thing ⠀
in the morning. Don’t give in ⠀
and feed just because they are
begging for food. ⠀
⠀
Call your dog before they start ⠀
to pull on their leash and start
walking in the opposite ⠀
direction. You decide how far ⠀
they are able to roam free!⠀
⠀
Dogs are pack animals. So be ⠀
the pack leader, your dog ⠀
can trust and follow ♥️⠀
⠀

When you get your 8 week old puppies, please keep these images in mind. Their bones do not even touch yet. They plod around so cutely with big floppy paws and wobbly movement because their joints are entirely made up of muscle, tendons, ligaments with skin covering. Nothing is fitting tightly together or has a true socket yet.

When you run them excessively or don't restrict their exercise to stop them from overdoing it during this period you don't give them a chance to grow properly. Every big jump or excited bouncing run causes impacts between the bones. In reasonable amounts this is not problematic and is the normal wear and tear that every animal will engage in.

When you're letting your puppy jump up and down off the lounge or bed, take them for long walks/hikes, you are damaging that forming joint. When you let the puppy scramble on tile with no traction you are damaging the joint.

You only get the chance to grow them once. A well built body is something that comes from excellent breeding and a great upbringing-BOTH, not just one.

Once grown you will have the rest of their life to spend playing and engaging in higher impact exercise. So keep it calm while they're still little baby puppies and give the gift that can only be given once.

I’m a breeder who loves ⠀
dogs more than people 🤣⠀
Let me offer some advice ⠀
for those considering ⠀
getting a puppy.⠀
⠀
⠀
Puppies will repeatedly p*e ⠀
and poo around the house ⠀
until they learn to use the ⠀
toilet. This cleaning routine ⠀
will continue every day for ⠀
about four weeks. Additionally,
they will chew on everything ⠀
with their sharp little teeth—
furniture, electrical cords, ⠀
shoes, plastic items... ⠀
everything!! and even your ⠀
hands or your children's ⠀
fingers.⠀
⠀
⠀
⠀
Puppies might jump up and ⠀
bite your clothes and hands, ⠀
which can lead to injuries. ⠀
They also cannot sleep alone ⠀
from day one, and if you try to
crate them or put them in ⠀
another room while you’re ⠀
putting your little one to bed, ⠀
they will cry and howl loudly ⠀
unless they are already crate
trained.⠀
⠀
⠀
This is the reality that awaits ⠀
you when you welcome a ⠀
puppy. ⠀
⠀
⠀
I recommend retired breeding
dogs for families that are ⠀
busy with two or more children
under five or for those ⠀
expecting a baby and getting ⠀
their first dog.⠀
⠀
⠀
Typically, breeding dogs ⠀
retire at around 3 years old. ⠀
By then, their personalities ⠀
are established, and they are
calmer, yet still healthy and
capable of living long lives. ⠀
⠀
Furthermore, breeding dogs ⠀
are usually excellent dogs ⠀
that have passed many tests,
including coat, teeth, healthy ⠀
body and temperament.⠀
⠀
⠀
They have received all necessary
vaccinations and health checks and
have been well cared for by their
breeders. Many believe that puppies
are easier to train, but dogs can be
trained at any age. And trust me, puppy
training is not easy, especially for
first-time owners.⠀
⠀
⠀
Living with a puppy can be ⠀
much more challenging and
stressful than you might ⠀
imagine, especially for ⠀
first-time dog owners. ⠀
⠀
If you’re thinking about ⠀
getting an ACD, remember ⠀
that puppies are not your
only option. Please consider ⠀
consulting with a nearby ⠀
breeder 🥰⠀

The Serious Guy….. our Pets, it turns out, also have last wishes before they die, but only known by veterinarians who put old and sick animals to sleep.
Twitter user Jesse Dietrich askd a vet what was the most difficult part of his job.
The specialist answered without hesitation that it was the hardest for him to see how old or sick animals look for their owners with the eyes of their owners before going to sleep.
The fact is that 90% of owners don't want to be in a room with a dying animal.
People leave so that they don't see their pet leave. But they don't realze that it's in these last moments of life that their pet needs them most.
Veterinarians ask the owners to be close to the animals until the very end.
"It's inevitable that they die before you. Don't forget that you were the center of their life. Maybe they were just a part of you. But they are also your family. No matter how hard it is, don't leave them."
Dont let them die in a room with a stranger in a place they dont like. It is very painful for veterinarians to see how pets cannot find their owner during the last minutes of their life.
They dont understnd why the owner left them. After all, they needed their owner's consolation.
Veterinarians do everything possible to ensure that animals are not so scared, but they are complete strangers to them. Don't be a coward because it's too painful for you.
Think about the pet. Endure this pain for their sake.
Be with them until the end.🐾🐾🐾

Watch closely to see if the

using a short leash indoors.⠀

When you say “come” to ⠀
your dog, it should be ⠀
considered a command, ⠀
not a request. ⠀
⠀
⠀
Therefore, it’s important ⠀
not to overuse the command ⠀
and to ensure that your dog
responds reliably to it. ⠀
⠀
⠀
However, they might not ⠀
always come. In those ⠀
situations, having a leash ⠀
can help you successfully ⠀
call your dog.⠀
⠀
⠀
A leash can address various ⠀
issues such as resource guarding,
jumping, and excessive barking.

Using a leash indoors is actually ⠀
a common practice among ⠀
dog trainers. ⠀

⠀
During training for problematic
behaviors, a leash is essential.⠀

While the goal is to eventually ⠀
train without one, the first step
is to use a leash for training.⠀

trainer, I do not recommend having
excessive expectations for ACDs.⠀⠀

All the breeders I know prioritise the
health of ACDs, conducting necessary
genetic tests and other assessments
for several years, often beyond what
you might expect. ⠀⠀
⠀
⠀⠀
However, as living beings, the risk of
illness such as cancer, ear infections, arthritis, allergies and skin infections etc can never be completely eliminated. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
⠀⠀
If a dog gets sick, it's not ⠀
your fault, nor the breeder's. ⠀
Like us, dogs are unpredictable ⠀
in terms of when or what illness
they may develop. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
⠀⠀
Puppies, like any other dogs, ⠀
may engage in behaviors like biting,
jumping, and barking, leading to mischief
or damage.⠀⠀
⠀⠀
⠀⠀
An ACD is not immune to ⠀
illness, nor is it a special dog ⠀
that is calm like a guide dog ⠀
from the start.⠀⠀
⠀⠀
⠀⠀
When someone says, "My dog has
been very calm and wonderful since
it was a puppy," remember that
perceptions vary greatly among people.⠀⠀

⠀⠀
Finally, I love ACDs and hope ⠀
that many people connect with wonderful
breeders and welcome an ACD into their lives
but please don't having excessive
expectations for ACDs and be prepared
for a little energetic rascal 😂😂⠀
