“Leave it” are two very important words for your dog to learn. Especially in the kitchen! It’s a helpful command around the house but it also could save your pup from getting into something dangerous. If you can teach your dog to leave it when it comes to their most favorite food or most favorite toy, it puts you both in a much stronger position if you ever need them to leave the cooked chicken bone you dropped or the box of chocolates someone left on the table or the stick looking rattlesnake on the hike. This simple command could save your dog’s life. It could also save you a lot on vet bills. The simple things matter!
