Yes, it's true! Come May, I will officially be a college graduate!! Of course, this means I will be unavailable May 10-12 due to the ceremony & celebration.

I can't even begin to describe how excited I am not just about graduating, but about finally being able to give more of my attention to this job. I have so many great things in store, and I can't wait for you guys to see them!!

Oh my, things have been busy at Dottie Mae's!

I feel so blessed that my calendar was packed this summer with both new and returning clients. I've traveled from far and wide to stay with these love bugs, and while it was difficult at times, I wouldn't trade this summer for anything! So, thank you for entrusting me with your furry friends.

Fortunately, the fun doesn't stop there; I'll be accessible on weekends (Friday-Sunday) throughout the fall semester. If you're planning a weekend getaway, keep me in mind!

If you don't know who these ladies are, let me introduce you!! This is Brooklyn and Bailey McKnight & they are influencers who live right here in Dallas, Texas. On July 11th, they started an RV trip with a goal to visit all 50 states before Bailey starts her next period.

Now, I know what you're thinking, 'this is so weird & random, what's the point'? I'm glad you asked! The McKnight twins have partnered with Alliance for Period Supplies to provide period products to women who can't afford them. Their goal is to be able to donate $100K to the cause, which will purchase 1 MILLION period products (10¢ = 1 product)!!

As of July 20th at 1:18 pm, the twins have raised $97,522. Y'all, they are so close to their goal and, in an effort to help them achieve it, Dottie Mae's Pet Sitting Service will be donating 10% of any profits made from July 11th to August 1st. The donations don't have to end there, scan the QR code in the third picture so you can help donate as well!! Even, if you can only spare $1, that's 10 period products for someone who had 0. If you have experienced a situation where you started your period but didn't have any products around, I beg you to donate for the cause because that is the norm sooooo many women around the world!!

UPDATE: They have just reached their $100K goal & are barely halfway through their trip!! 🥳 Now, the goal is to try & achieve $200K, which is 2 MILLION products!!

The class is free and the lessons are invaluable. 12 hours of instruction over 3 weeks that culminates in a final fight night! This is one fight club you can talk about, talk about it to your girlfriends and make it a girl's night out and class lets out in time to enjoy the restaurants on Halsell St. Open to all ladies.
