We love Halloween but consider keeping your dogs and Frady cats in a separate room that can be closed and buy or make appropriate pet treats that you can give them so they can be part of the fun! And, be sure you walk your dogs early before trick or treaters hit the streets.

Don't feed your pets Halloween candy, especially if it contains chocolate or xylitol (a common sugar substitute); Make sure your pet has proper ID...

HAPPY FURRY FRIDAY!
Have you heard there is a national climate strike going on today?
Protecting the earth protects our animals and we LOVE our pets and animals!
This article examines how we could take a page from our pets diet to do our part to protect the environment.

The Conclusion:
We don't have to give up our love of pets or meat, we just need to change the way we eat our meat.
Eat less meat, or if your a meat eater, eat as much of the whole animal as possible (Snout to Tail).

So, give a bark if you're in the Fairport area and we'll be happy to brave the elements to keep your pet all smiles🐶

It's time to kick off Memorial Day weekend and Rochester is a great place to spend it. A stroll along Ontario and a stop at Abbot's ice cream is great to do with your four-legged friend. Another great way to spend time with your paw friend is to grab a beverage and some wings out on the patio area at Dinsour BBQ.

Memorial Day is an important day to remember and honor all who have served and have sacrificied for our country. It has also become seen as the unofficial start of the summer season. To help you celebrate Memorial Day in Rochester, we have pulled together 10 things to do on Memorial Day 2019 in Roch...

Tonight's pet tip is to brush your pet's teeth!
I get the strangest looks when I ask my clients if they brush their pet's teeth. All cats and dogs need their teeth and gums brushed once to twice a week and at least one professional brush a year. Dental treats are not a replacement and your vet will have plenty of tips and the right toothpaste and brushes for your pet.
For more tips and information I recommend visiting www.aspca.org/pet-care.

Get the most up-to-date pet care information from ASPCA experts in behavior, nutrition, poison control, veterinary medicine and the human-animal bond.

My Passion For Pets

Hi, my name is Greydon and my passion for pets along with my interest in serving others inspired my decision to serve the pet community. I founded I Love NY Paws in 2019 with my family and have been providing pet care in my community for several years. I also help care for my family pets, a rambunctious Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy and a special needs rescue cat. Whether your pet needs a walk, brushing or just company, my family and I are here to help. We will treat them with the compassion they deserve and as if they were part of our family.
