My husband Jason and I recently decided to change our lifestyle for the betterment of our health, happiness, and family. We started raising goats to help him learn important life skills. In addition, Riley takes medication daily for his condition. We give it to him in yogurt or milk to make it more palatable, so it made sense for us to raise goats that are small in size but prolific when it comes

to producing milk. This is how I discovered the joy of hard work, raising animals, all-natural organic homegrown meals (that you can actually be proud to feed your family), and tending to your own land. I hope to share this amazing journey with others just like us!

Everest went back into heat again and reared rubble so we may have a later date for her babies now too. 😐

Well nalas due date if she takes is now up in the air as she seems to have short cycled and bred guard again today. Hopefully that's the last I see of her in heat and this time she takes. I've still recorded her original breeding date however she may be about 6 days later then that.

4-H holds a special place in our house! Riley and Dean all are registered members (and the little ones participate too)....

4-H holds a special place in our house! Riley and Dean all are registered members (and the little ones participate too)... This amazing program runs on volunteers so anything extra such as field trips ect that he kids want to do comes from donations and fundraising! This is where we are asking for your help! This month the kids are doing a "pay your day fundraiser"...it's a simple concept, pick a day (or a few days) and donate that amount! (Ect November 1= $1 ,15= $15, 30= $30! The kids are all in a race against each other to be the first to fill their calendars so the excitement is real! Donations can be made by cash, check, Venmo, zelle!! I will update daily with name over the date so everyone knows what dates are left (and I'll have 2 calendars 🤣) Please help support these kiddos and their passion! Thank you for supporting our local 4H!!!
