💚Crufts 2024💚
My dogs did me proud! They love Crufts and this being my last YKC year, I planned everything the best I could, just wanted to go out there and enjoy.

They had a fab time both in the ring and around the show, winning their HTM classes and placing in obedience. Kyro was very close to a clear agility run too, he had a lot of fun!

My car also passed its MOT! Back to walkies and I’m sure all the dogs are very excited! Whilst mine are still knackered (besides Drift who stayed home!) 😴

This time next week day 1 of Crufts will be over! 😱
Reminder, tomorrow is my last day of walks and then I’m back on Tuesday 12th March! 🐶

We have physio, training, baths and travelling which is why I’m off for the days before - one year I tried doing it all the night before and it was disastrous! I really appreciate everyone’s understanding and will miss the dogs so much 🩷

We’re not in the main arena this year and the other rings don’t tend to be livestreamed but I will keep everyone updated who has asked! 💚

Today was probably my weirdest day of walking 🤣 Car in garage, so got myself insured on my brother’s old car so I could at least do solos.

Disaster struck after the first walk when the key wouldn’t work and I set the alarm off 🙈 Luckily it only happened again once after that!

I actually really love doing solos from houses, the dogs almost always show me their favourite routes! Nice to have that 1-1 time too, Fox and Charly had a little play date with living close together 🥰

Got home to my car being back, normality resumed from tomorrow thank goodness! On top of a family situation, this week has been very testing! Thanks everyone for always being understanding and supportive 🙏🏻

No Monday blues here! Today was a great day 🤩 2 fabulous group walks and a solo for Pixie!

The best part of today was as I collected Pixie, I bumped into a dog who has always had a piece of my heart. I haven’t seen him for 5 years, so it absolutely made my day ❤️ He is 15 years old now! 😱 A special soul and part of the reason I now have 2 Aussies of my own (well, MAS but very similar - Kyro especially is very like him 🥰).

I hope owners know that the dogs I care for have a massive influence on my life. I’m lucky to spend my days doing this and each one is very special to me ❤️

Zeus, Kyro & Drift were first to brave the weather, followed by 2 fun group walks, and lastly little Pixie who even found a football to play with!

Sophie is refusing to go out so HTM practise inside it is 🤣 After a well deserved cup of tea for me!

💚CRUFTS 2024 - HOLIDAY DATES💚
We are currently well underway with Crufts prep! I will be away and no walks for the following dates:

Monday 4th March - Monday 11th March (restarting on Tuesday 12th March)

If you’re going to be there, please come and see us! We will be competing on the following days (times TBC):
💚Thursday - YKC Heelwork (Kyro), YKC Freestyle (Sophie)
💚Friday - YKC Basic Obedience (Kyro & Sophie)
💚Saturday - YKC ABC Agility (Kyro)
💚Sunday - YKC GCDS Obedience Stakes (Kyro)

All in the YKC ring in hall 3, besides Sunday which is in the GCDS ring in hall 3.

It’s a special one as it’s my last year in the YKC 😢 And my first time without Maisie, hoping we do her proud 💜

What a fab Thursday! Started a bit later to let traffic calm down and the ice to melt a bit (thanks everyone for understanding!). A few stayed home today but we will have lots of fun next week to make up for it!

Milly, Nelson, Zeus & Mario had fun on the beach with Lucky Paws crew 🏖 We’ve not done this for a while so they were very excited!

Charly, Lilly, Fox & Martha loved playing in the snow ❄️

Connie, Libby, Woody & Luna also loved the snow! ☃️
