Hello friends!! I dropped the ball once again with my posting! 😫 I'm sorry! I hope that everyone has had a wonderful start to 2024! Many things have happened in our lives over the last few months. We lost two Danes and our 2, 19-year-old cats. The cats and our Bindi girl within a weeks time. So....yeah it's been tough! However, some good news...my first grandbaby was born on Dec. 3rd. Mr. Noah Lynn has been a bright light in this grey world! Love him to pieces!! Aside from that… Just been working! It's the first time I've ever carried any stock in the Dane coats etc. and that has kept me quite busy! For those that didn't know those are all located on the FB group, Great Dane Coat Club! if you go to join please make sure to answer the questions so that they will let you in! 🥰 I promise...no really this time...🤣! I have to get on track again! I've talked with many of you and have been still making collars just kind of quiet on the social media aspect of life! I'm coming back! 😅😅😅

I've been waiting to post a photo of these cuties until she posted on her business page. We lost our Bella not long ago and Kelly asked me to send one of Bella's coats as she wanted to make something for my daughter. She also had me send something of Strider's so she could make a "Forever Dane" of him as well. She even incorporated a couple pieces of Bella's coat and a button into the Strider Dane for me so I could have them together. I posted a while back when she first started making her sculptures of people's pets. She is incredibly talented and has added this to her repertoire. Thank you Kelly for such a thoughtful treasure! Wanted to let everyone know that we had to let our Bella girl go. Almost a year ago she had her first seizure. They were getting worse and more frequent. Her tumor was getting bigger, and I wasn't going to let her suffer any longer.
We had a good day. My daughter spent the night last night with her girl. Got up, went for burgers, a lake trip, ice cream, and then we took her and helped her close her eyes for the last time on this earth. My heart is broken again, but even more, it hurts! Hurts for my daughter. Bella was her heart dog and I hate that I can't take that pain from her. She and my son both grew up for the last almost 10 years with our girl. I miss her already. It's so strange to me the things that we do in a daily basis that are basically being on auto pilot. I've had to stop myself tonight more times than I can remember to feed her let her out, turn her medication timer off. This feeling just sucks! Hold your babies a little tighter tonight for me. Please keep my family especially my daughter in your thoughts and prayers as we learn yet again our new "normal!"

The prices of only these select collars include shipping and free embroidery. Other Christmas in July specials do not apply to these premade collars. (Please see previous posts for other sale inform for this weekend) Please claim them by leaving your email address, letter of your selected pattern as well as size if there are multiple collars listed in the photo. First come, first served. If your invoice is not promptly paid, it will be canceled and given to the next person to claim it.

Just wanted to touch base with everyone. Thank you guys all for all the messages, etc.! Her blood sugar test came back today better than it was yesterday. For right now we’re just going to monitor that more closely as well as any type of symptoms she may have. Unless there are any other episodes between now and Tuesday, Tuesday she will go back for another blood test. Thank you guys all very much again for caring about us! 💜💜

Wanted to share this here as many of you have been on this journey with me since Bella came into our lives 8 years ago. Most know she’s been having seizures for the past several months. We’ve gotten those pretty much under control although not really sure what was actually causing them. She also had cancer a couple years ago. We removed it and with the type it was, she didn’t need chemo or any kind of radiation. She got it back I the same place. Removed again. She’s got two more lumps now but the vet said if they’re not bothering her she said leave them alone. It would be more risky giving her anesthesia and she would die of old age before that type of cancer could affect her. So today we were outside and she went down. Couldn’t get her back up at all. She wasn’t seizing was just very wobbly on her feet and wasn’t able to get up. LONG story and a lot of sweat and tears later, got her to the vet. They ran all types of blood work. Her sugar was in the 40’s. At this point, concerned with liver failure. Got her sugar up enough to allow her to be mobile again. I asked her to do a sonogram just to check and see if there were any visible masses or something…anything! Just want to understand what is going on. She said she could see her spleen perfectly and it looked good. She said the liver looked…”strange” to her. Just a little off but nothing that put immediate alarm. We’re home now. Going back in the morning for another test. If it’s below 70 we’ll be doing another special liver function test that will be sent to UT. This will tell us exactly the liver health. So…I wanted to let everyone know about our Bella girl! You guys have been here throughout! I would appreciate any prayers and we’ll wishes! Our girl is 9 already but she’s still has a lot of life left!
