Things have been busy this week as our Head Brewer Arran is away on holiday but we managed to get down to the bakery for an evening bake! 🍺🐕
Fresh biscuits are available on our online shop and at the taproom if your dog fancies some treats 🐶
Twenty Six, which serves up all day brunches and hosts street food vendors, will host its first Canton Crufts later this spring
We launched a month ago!
It’s been great fun baking and selling our dog treats. We are now being stocked in a range of pubs, bottle shops and at the taproom. Dogs are loving them! 🐶
We stopped by the bakery to dehydrate some grains today ready for a busy week of baking next week. We will be working to build up our stocks ready for the beer garden weather this month! 🍻

It’s a great new market in Canton’s Boneyard on Paper Mill Road. There will be loads of stalls, street food and TwentySix Cardiff bar will be open for coffees, beers and bloody mary’s!

Andrew and Arran co-founded Flowerhorn Brewery back in 2019 and 3.5 years later launched Flowerhorn Dog Bakery. We thought it was a great idea to repurpose the brewers grain to make beer inspired dog biscuits but never thought we’d actually do it and here we are! Thank you for all your support the past few years, work is busier than ever but we hope to keep growing this little Cardiff business.

After a year of planning, converting a shipping container into a bakery and developing our recipe we are finally ready to launch our dog bakery!
We are launching with our Pale Ale Dog Biscuits and will be looking to expand the range throughout the year. Our Pale Ale Dog Biscuits are made using grains from the brewing process. After mashing in we are left with hundreds of kilos of spent malt which we dehydrate, mill, mix with flaxseed, flour and peanut butter to create a high protein snack which dogs love!
5p from every Pouch and 10p from every tin will be donated to our local dogs home Cardiff Dogs Home, The Rescue Hotel.
Packaged in 35g Pub-Snack sized eco friendly pouches, 130g aluminium tins and wrapped in compostable paper labels to keep this project as sustainable as possible.
These biscuits are natural, vegan, sustainable, recyclable and hand baked by our small team!
We will be launching this Saturday at the very first Boneyard Bazaar in Canton at Flowerhorn Brewery taproom and with many other venues who we will be announcing later this week.
