We’ve had the option ‘with harness hole’ for the longest time. The outfit just got completed! With our very own Speedray Harness ‘THE ELSA 3 Point Harness’ 🤗 Obsessed with how this turned out. 😍 Looking for a seamstress who could make our design a reality was tricky. Better late than never 😅 She’s absolutely fantastic & creates beautiful pieces! 🧵🪡 There’s 11 colours to choose from & you can add the matching lead 🙌🥰 Available for all sizes with adjustable features to secure that perfect fit.

HOW WE STARTED

Sighthounds have been such a huge part of our lives now, for over 12 years. We are so privileged to share our home with this truly to be admired breed of dogs. We started with two and are now blessed with five. We very quickly discovered this breed does need to be kept warm and dry, especially on those cooler days. Standard dog clothing just doesn’t fit their slender, curved bodies. I never took to the standard sighthound coat so decided to start designing my own. I altered unwanted dog coats and some of my human clothing, to fit their shape. I couldn’t believe the reaction we were getting from other dog owners wanting to know where they could purchase these coats from. Started to make dog clothing for my friends and family on a small scale, after such positive feedback I decided it was time to start the Speedray sighthound design wear brand. We now have a small group of seamstresses all living close to ourselves, here in Lancashire. Lancashire is truly the heart of the textile manufacturing industry revolution in Britain, I hope to continue and carry this legacy forward with our speedray brand, whilst supporting the local textile industry. We have also been truly blessed to have had a couple of litters from our gorgeous whippets, Speedray has been named after our KC name and our coats will be named after our puppies. They all mean so much to us, we are now part of one big Whippet family and couldn’t be happier! We all keep in touch and have regular walks together. Sure all sighthound owners would agree there is nothing more heart-melting, then to see a large group of sighthounds running and playing together. We can’t get enough of that feeling so I often arrange sighthound walks. Do let us know if you’d like to join us on one of these walks and we’ll keep you posted.
