Joy is amazing! She is kind and understanding. She worked and works with me and my dogs in a way that benefits all of us. Her knowledge and expertise are impressive but yet she continues to educate herself to our great benefit. She gives me a step by step plan that works for my pups. She is always ready to offer tips and help. She goes above and beyond. In the time I have been able to work with her my dogs already have improved so much. And more then that she has supported ME, the gaurdian of a human and dog reactive dog, and the gaurdian of a separation anxiety dog. She is there to celebrate highs and help support in the lows. Her love of learning and for dogs, and truthfully for the people, radiates from her. Thank you so much Joy for all you have done for us. And continue to do for us. Joy is a delight to work with! She is very well educated in her field and when she doesn’t know something she will take courses/ read articles or books to better her education. I went from training using “balanced” training for over 24 years to force free and the transition has been really hard but Joy has helped me feel accomplished by breaking it down and letting me go at my pace. She is also available when not in session to ask questions or get feedback. I usually do not like virtual learning but it has been a really positive experience for me. Joy is an absolute joy to work with! Understanding, helpful and open. She is funny, light and gentle as well. No question is left unanswered and more often than not, she has multiple resources within the answer to ensure both you and your dog are getting the best care. She truly believes in her work and always strives to be helpful and it shows in every conversation we have had. She always comforts the dog and supports the human, would recommend anyone seeking troubleshooting or basic training reach out to her.
