Thought I should maybe do another post to pin to the top of the page, explaining a bit more about the styles/fits of the different garments. My standard PJS are a relaxed fit which allows for getting your dog's legs through the sleeves without having to dismantle him! 🤣PJ style in one of the thin stretch jersey fabrics can be made more snug in fit as the fabric tends to have more stretch than fleece which only stretches in one direction. The actual chest measurement of the PJs will be physically quite a bit more than the chest measurement of your dog. If you do want it to be a skinny/tight fit and your dog is athletic enough to get in and out of it easily , tell me at the point of order and I will make the chest panel narrower. Similarly, if you'd like the neck wider/narrower, longer/shorter than standard, or legs shorter, just tell me your requirements as it's easy to do and not so easy to change afterwards.
Fleece coats and raincoats are fairly self explanatory, made to the length and girth you send me, with or without collars. Bear in mind, if your dog is a dainty build, it's possibly better to have the collar as the scoop neck can be a bit wide on a Skinny Minnie. As with the PJs too, if you have a boy that has "p*e zone" incidents and would like the strap further forward or the chest panel cut high, just tell me.
Houndie coats are similar but specifically for galgos and greys whose tails hang down the way and who can need a bit more coverage over their bony little hind quarters 😘
Oversize Cuddle Coats are exactly that - oversized - like wearing your big brother's jumper 🤣They are basically houndie style (though can be done with a split at the rump for dogs with "uppie" tails), but with more fabric and a more sloppy fit. Still send me the dog's actual measurements and the garment will then be made accordingly.
We always have some Houdini pooches that can manage to get a leg through a neck hole or similar so let me know if you need the collar to be a specific measurement to be a more tight fit.
I will always take them back to alter if at all possible, if the fit isn't ideal and there will be no charge (unless you gave me wrong measurements), but you will need to cover the post to return it and for me to send the altered garment back, so always best to put in any special requirements at the point of order.
I hope you'll all agree, I offer a bespoke service for a very modest price and I do donate back part of each sale to Podencos in Need, so there's not much margin to playwith.
Thanks as always for your custom and support and keep sending the pics of your gorgeous poochies modelling their fleeces.
