We will take entries till 7:30 am (central time) the day of the trial, April 21, 2023.
Drawing will be public at Protemus the morning of the trial. Trial begins at 8:00 am or immediately following drawing.
$10.00 entry fee (cash only). 100% payout.
Judges: Roger Watson, and Steve Towery.
Judged on puppy standards.

Covey #4 was the flub of the day. #6 I didn’t get to video as a big covey got up as soon as Nile went on point and Covey #8 my phone was dead. Getting a GoPro soon. It was a good day even with the hunting and fishing forecast saying it would be a poor day 😂
Luke got him a nice covey before my phone died.

Nile had a covey that ran a little ways. My 10 month old setter pup relocated on his own and stole point on a nice covey. Nile’s birds though.

Here’s the flub of the day today. After Tucker pointed his second covey I was fiddling with my phone, Dan a pointer got off a bit and went on point. I took pics as I went and on the last pic I thought I started filming.Last pic of Dan is when I thought I stopped filming. 15-18 bird covey. No video!!🤷🏻‍♂️
