You entered a lives a year ago today, and may only have been in them a short time but you changed them forever.

We miss you every day but your legacy lives on with the dogs you inspired us to help.

And the newbie…..meet Flo.
Flo has recently arrived is still settling with us. She is a sweet girl but is very unsure of people and is currently fighting a nasty infection. She has been quite poorly post surgery and Ravens rescue UK are doing all they can at the vets to get her right so please support them and donate to Flo’s vet bills.

She is getting there slowly and we are just letting her take things at her own pace.

We have also have a Frenchie recovering from IVDD (spinal) surgery, he came to us with a catheter and hind limb paralysed, the vet said he may never regain continence and may never walk again.

He is doing super well, he has had physiotherapy, laser treatment and hydrotherapy. He now has complete control over his bowels and urine and is walking!! Still needs some sessions but he really is a trooper.

He is so sweet and loving, he is great and so determined. The biggest cuddle monster ever.

Not done a pup date for a while as it’s been chaos!! There are another two plus Bob now so will update on those after these 🤣

Lola is doing really well, she is starting to really settle and is far less frightened of things…..and housetraining is finally improving! Love when we take her for a walk she doesn’t even need a lead, just walks right by you and ignores the rest of the world, she isn’t keen on a lead and still cowers when a car drives past her but baby steps with her ❤️❤️

Franks is ace, a little terror and has his ups and downs with his stomach due to his condition but his zest for life is unrivalled! He is doing so well on his legs and easily keeps up with the others by bunny hopping around!! So glad someone chose not to give him a death sentence for his disability ❤️❤️

Lola is doing really well after her surgery, she had BOAS, a facelift and spay. Rosie her amazing vet decided to leave her eye put for now as it isn’t causing any issues. She is a trooper and charging around the place already ❤️❤️

Lola’s surgery went well….she is doing really well at home. Pics and full update to follow, for now it’s quiz time!

Little Lola ❤️ her nostrils disappear when she lies down, therefore she really struggles with her breathing.
She is booked in for a facelift soon to remove some of the excess skin so hopefully this will help her to breathe as well as having Boas surgery.
She is comfy enough but snores like a 🐷

A quick update on the puppers…..
Lola is doing really well, she is struggling in the heat but we are doing all we can to keep her cool. She is scheduled for surgery in July so really hoping that takes some pressure off for her. She is still nervy and housetraining is like pulling teeth 🤣 but we adore her. She is super happy and now does daily zoomies in the garden which is amazing to see ❤️❤️

Frank is doing well too, poos for England so getting through nappies at a rate of knots! He adores Lola and thinks she is his mommy ❤️
He is wobbly on his legs due to his spina bifida so will just try everyday to keep him as strong as we can.

So, our second foster arrived today!
He is an 8 week old British bulldog with spina bifida. He was going to be put to sleep due to his disability but a lady managed to intercept that and here he is!

He will wear nappies for life as he is doubly incontinent and currently has sore skin from this, hopefully he will remain mobile. Spina bifida is NOT a death sentence and he is a happy boy.

He is a little beaut and Bob and Lola have both been so kind with him.

Lola is doing really well after a couple of days on anti biotics.
She is super friendly and just craves love ❤️ she is a little nervous at noises but getting there.
She is golden and very tolerant of me cleaning all of her skin folds. Her breathing is awful but hopefully surgery will help with that.
She is a little diamond 💎

The little madam is here. We will call her Lola as she had no name 😩

She has been treated terribly, been left outside, she is so loving and deserves so much more than this.

She has been poorly today with multiple infections and spent the day at the vets on fluids and oxygen.
She has a long road ahead with lots of surgery looming.

She needs surgery as her nose skin covers her nostrils, she has awful infections in her skin folds and tail pocket will also need surgery, she will need pallette surgery to help her breathing.
One eye will need to be removed as the skin has grown over it, and the other eye has an untreated ulcer so vision is blurred. Her heart isn’t the right shape either!

Today is the day her life changes.

We have our first foster today, but delayed due to being very poorly and on oxygen at the vets so more details later, she will need lots of surgery so please help us to raise some much needed funds for these babies who just don’t deserve the cards they get dealt. She is so loving ❤️
