As we wine down the month of Oct and get ready for the upcoming holiday season and the Thanksgiving dinner .....here is just a reminder of other programs that are planned for this month,

November 10 th will be a Recreational Pony ride program with a grooming session as well as the usual chance to ride different ponies .Call your local recreation departments ( West Shore Recreation Commission, Mechanicsburg parks and Rec and Silver Spring township Rec.)

November 17 we will have a Horse show for the current students of TELC which will start at 12. The community is welcome to come and watch the kids try their best to win a ribbon
No lessons on Thanksgiving Day,

I need helpers and arts/craft type people to join me in making costumes for the ponies for a program at the end of the month. The line up for ideas are,,, Little Red Riding hood, The Cow jumped over the moon, Raggedy Ann and Andie and the Farmer in the dell,,, and maybe others, Let me know if you can glue, pin and cut materials.

Late time notice but I just go word that there are 5 spots open for the "Pony Rides for Litle tots " and I will offer them to the general public , Kids from 2-6 can register though Total Equine Learning Center for this program that starts at 1:30 -3-00 and the fees are paid to TELC directly , Call 717-766-4035 by 1:00 to confirm your spot , Fee is $ 52.00 ,Program is at 1206 South Market Street, Mech . Please have the kids wear long leg pants in order to ride the ponies and play in the different activities available for them to have fun between the pony rides.. Hope to see you!

One of my worst night mares (just happened in the day ) came to past about a hour ago> The geldings ( horses) escaped from the front pasture and made their way across Rt 114( South Market st) and ran out behind AD Dis. , Thank god no one hit them or they didn't cause an accident . Thanks you all for helping to get them home safely , the Upper Allen Township police , the workers at AD and neighbors and passer byers. I was away from the farm so my number one stable manager directed all of you to get these rescued horses back home. Thank you guys ! It is great to know that the neighborhood is united
