We try not to nickel and dime you to death after you get here.... and we feed nearly every animal we have here on the farm.

Here are some of the items my kids have for sale at the zoo! If you would like to shop, please bring extra cash! We have customized tee shirts, personalized cups, emu egg shell earrings, sugar scrub, organic goat milk soap, organic salve, organic lotion, and more! These are all homemade and handmade!

So...... we've been debating for quite some time.... and its finally happening... our prices are gonna be a bit more comparable to other animal encounters...

Our guests have been telling us we are selling ourselves short... so as bad as i hate to... im going to have to try to come out ahead if I'm going to continue this dream.
While we are trying to expand into raising more exotics to generate some profit... the truth is... we have lots and lots of rescued mouths to feed that will never be sold or bred... so they are just that... sweet, old, retired, loving mouths to feed. All are just as important as the other.... but they ALL require care and upkeep.

We have been charging the same price of a fast food meal for everything we offer and selling ourselves EXTREMELY short.

Our tours include FULL PRIVATE ACCESS to the animals. WE INCLUDE all food and treats during the tour. So we don't nickle & dime you to death after you pay admission like other places!
We include a wagon ride to see and feed even more animals....AND THEN WE FEED YOU AN ALL YOU CAN EAT MEAL with an old fashioned weiner roast and smores around the fire pit with lemonade and sweet tea! WE PROVIDE EVERYTHING!

THIS DECISION HAS NOT CAME LIGHTLY... but we wana be able to continue what we are doing as well as expand & improve! I'm hoping you look at it like... we spend $13 on a fast food meal on the way home... $12-$15 on admission at a normal petting zoo.. then $5-$8 on food for the animals while there... $4 per kid if they get a drink or 2 while there, and that doesn't include gas to drive an hour or 2 away!
SO YOU'RE LOOKING AT $30-$40 PER PERSON TOTAL AT YOUR TYPICAL DAY OUT TO A PETTING ZOO... when u break it down.
And what I've seen from private encounter prices... most are $50-$100 per person...

Remember.... ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED HERE!

OUR NEW PRICE WILL BE $25 PER PERSON... AGES 2 and up.
We feel this price is still far below other places with all we offer if you break the cost down like I did above!

People who have visited us for a farm tour... this year since we've added so much more!
Please be honest! I'm doing some thinking!
I'd like to be able to continue AND expand!

So.... as you all know... its $15 a person.
Let's be honest... you can barely go get a meal at McDonalds for $15 a person.

Our tour, as you know if you've been here, the $15
INCLUDES a meal, plus all food and treats for nearly every animal we own. It includes all HANDS ON with the animals, and a wagon ride...plus MORE treats.

So here's my question- what is our tour, treats, wagon ride, hands on experience, and meal worth?
What would be a fair price for all of it?

I barely come out ahead with the private tours and I don't wana take the unique experience away by doing public and u only get to see the animals through the fence or cage.

I've had many generous people give us a tip because they said they've never been to a place like ours and they really want us to continue!
And we appreciate it sooooo much.

I realize it's expensive for a family.... but like I said.. a value meal at a fast food joint or pizza night... or the movies costs as much or more as I'm charging for all this.

Honest opinions please... from those who have visited! Thanks in advance!

Every group is special.... and every group is appreciated and loved! But some groups, like tonight, just make my heart as warm as it can possibly be and when I say I'm truly happy.... I AM!
THE JOY and the FUN.... AND THE SMILES!
When someone enjoys my animals as much as I do.....

Just an info post... so I'll just be honest...before this year... I'd take any size group... but since the tour takes a few hours... I can only do 2 tours a day... ( we do the tours so that it's DIFFERENT than ur average petting zoo where animals can only be seen behind fences) We want our farm to be a hands on experience you don't get other places)
Anyhow, I was literally making $30 a day....or $60 a day..you get the picture....some were gracious enough to make an extra donation...so that was extremely appreciated...

This year... I set a base price of $100 for a tour... .up to 7 people... but I'm afraid it's scaring people away... because they don't realize what all the tour is and includes...
I mean... we just went to eat at a local restaurant yesterday and it was 4 adults and 2 kids and the bill was over $100 PLUS we left a tip (IT WAS A MOTHERS DAY GIFT)... anyway...no entertainment included for sure... just sat at a table and ate.

Our tours DO include an all you can eat weiner roast and smores.... plus the tour itself where you get to hold and feed our animals...all the treats and food for the animals IS included....We take a wagon ride out to the pasture with cows and horses that come right up and eat from your hands...plus more!

So....
I'm going to remove the $100 minimum price to book a tour... it will again just be $15 per person... but I will just REQUEST you TRY to get a group together .... just to help us out ... if you cant... we would still be delighted to have your family come and join us... no matter the size!

These are some of the homemade organic items my daughter, Ashley has for sale at the petting zoo! She sells goat milk soap, lotion bars, salve, egg noodles, and more! My other daughter, Addison sells sugar scrub, so if you are interested in anything, please bring a little extra cash on your visit!
