This is just a fun page where I share pictures, videos, memes and other fun stuff about (Giant African Land) snails. I got my first snails in 2018 and started breeding them about a year later. No worries, I'm from The Netherlands, so it's legal here to keep and breed them. In 2021 one of my pictures went viral and that's how I got the name 'Queen of Snails'

At the moment I have about 20 snails,

3 different species and lots of eggs who still need to hatch. I also take care of 'rescue snails' and make sure they are getting the life they deserve

It's been exactly 5 years since I got my first snail Chappie ❤️🐌. Never tought snails would bring me that much joy and an amazing community. Unfortunately I had to say goodbye to Chappie last year but he will always be one of my most special pets

One year without Chappie. I still miss him

I'm heartbroken...
My first ever pet snail Chappie died today.
I knew this day was coming soon as he was getting very old and slept a lot lately, but no matter how old he was, today came too soon.

Chappie was in my life for about 4 years (he was already way older when I got him because he already spent 3 years with his previous owner before I adopted him). Which means he was at least 7 years old ❤.

After I adopted Chappie, I discovered how amazing snails are. Because of Chappie the whole Queen of Snails thing started and I found a weird hobby that makes me more than happy every day. Im thankful for the wonderful years I got to spent with him and I shall miss him very much.
