There’s a difference between being busy (stressed/anxious) and busy (fulfilled).

I feel really lucky to say that the last month has been busy (fulfilled), but know that the line is very fine and too much busy (fulfilled) can quickly turn into busy (stressed/anxious).

So!!! Here’s to attempting to manage my time and energy to stay on the right side of busy.

This summer has been SOSososoSOSoSoso full it is simply exploding!

I have nonexistent time to reflect, chill, clean, cook, sleep, etc. because of all of the time on work & fun which is both overwhelming and amazing.

There are some people who think that there is no use in “preaching to the choir”.

I’ve been doing some reading and thinking about this, and have come to the absolute conclusion that giving the metaphorical choir the tools, space, connection, and empowerment to ultimately take action is an incredible thing.

The preaching to the choir thing also assumes that the choir already knows the lyrics, melody, and how to sing together. But they don’t! That’s what a conductor is for. And practice. Are choir practices called practices?

Leaning further into the metaphor (sorry), I feel super lucky to be in a bunch of different choirs. I’m surrounded by people who are working towards the same goal, but each bring something unique. So hello Nifty Dogs choir! What song shall we sing today? I’m thinking Aquarius/Let The Sunshine In by The 5th Dimension.
