Hi lovelies hope everyone has enjoyed the long bank holiday weekend . I’ve only been back from holiday a week and straight back in to anything looking after beautiful pups.

Moving forward I feel in need to be stricter with drop off and pick up times . I have spoken to other boarders recently and I do feel like I’ve always been very flexible and I will continue to do this where ever I can but as a general rule I will now only do the following unless it’s been arranged prior.

AM -8-10:30
PM - 4-6

For a PM collection there will still be a charge of half a day.

I have also recently taken the decision to no longer accept in tact males . This doesn’t include dogs that I already care for or dogs too young to be neutered.

It’s not been an easy decision on both changes but I need to make things better for my family and having constant marking in my home and on our furnishings isn’t acceptable.

We welcome all your beautiful dogs in to our home but it still is our home and we as a family need to make some adjustments to ensure everyone is happy.

Hi lovelies !

I hope everyone is well and is looking forward to Easter .
We are looking forward to some nice weather and to get rid of the horrible muddy days that we are having ! However we have still had a nice time looking after your beautiful dogs . Due to a client relocation I have had a large cancellation for summer and other school holidays I now have some additional availability if you require any space for your beautiful pooches .

30th July -9th August
12th-23rd August
October half term
December 1st onwards

Hi lovelies ! Hope everyone is well ? And well into 2024 . I’m sorry i haven’t posted recently but anyone that knows me personally knows we have had a bit of a tough time with our beautiful Ruby who’s now being treated by a specialist and I myself and Harry have been quite unwell.

That said I continue to provide a wonderful home for all of our beautiful boarders who many times have given me such warmth and kindness when things have been tough .

I’m also very grateful for the beautiful gifts and messages that I have received from clients whom I now deem friends because the support has meant such a lot so thank you.

I have had some last minute cancellations so I have some available dates from -
24th feb - 21st March 2024

If you would like to book a last minute break or or mini holidays for your pup please let me know ❤️.

I would also like to ask if your holding space with no actual holiday booked that you consider letting me know if you don’t plan to keep the booking .
I am a small business, but I am always incredibly helpful and co operative to everyone and try to help everyone but please understand if I get cancellations in an untimely manner it makes it difficult to replace. I know many boarders take large non refundable deposits upfront which is something I’m trying to avoid but over the last year I’ve had many people let me down last minute , I know illness etc can not be helped and will always transfer deposits etc when I can.

I remain grateful always for my wonderful clients that choose me to care for their beautiful pooches …

Lots of muddy wet walks we’ve been having!

“Well someone said Auntie carolyn was due a holiday … how dare she .? What about all these pupsters said Huxley … oh yes Auntie Carolyn says we have to go home at some point to our other favourite hoomans!!!!
Now then … what do we have here looks like she’s having a pamper … complimented by many pupster friends … mmmm I’ll be having a bit of that said a very patient Huxley passing his paw to leanne .. go easy on the pink though hey !!! “

Yesterday I had more sad news that one of my beautiful boarders Inca had passed over the rainbow 🌈 bridge … inca was a very sweet old lady that I have had the pleasure to look after several times . Inca was due to me in a couple of weeks with her bestie Bella so she will be very missed .
The dogs I care for make a massive 🐾 on my ❤️ and although with the loss of Bagel a couple of weeks ago I have questioned if I can continue to do my boarding business but if I care so much and feel the way I do it only shows that this must be the right thing to continue . ?
I love all my dogs as part of my family … and I can’t change that that’s just who I am and hopefully shows the care and love I have when I’m chosen to take care of your 4 legged children ❤️###

This weekend has been the hardest I’ve dealt with since I opened the business.
I’ve had a few people contact me for bookings so I’m sorry I’ve not replied but I will do.

I do this job because I love dogs so much . I am here to take care of them no matter what it takes . I’ve nursed dogs when poorly and nurtured anxious dogs until they feel comfortable here and part of our family, but that is what they become an extension to our family . Our home is their home for their holidays .
This weekend I had the heartbreaking loss of beautiful Bagel. Bagel became poorly with a tumour that had caused him to haemorrhage severely internally from his spleen he became very poorly very quickly and within a couple of hours I lay by his side held his head and kissed him so much and told him how loved he was …
I always knew this time could come whilst a dog was in my care but I don’t think I prepared myself for how hard it would be.
Bagel you were a beautiful boy who I love and will miss and I feel sad that your lovely family could not be by your side but I know that you felt calm and loved in my arms .
I am thinking of Matt and his family who sadly returned from holiday this weekend whilst they deal with this sudden tragic loss.
Bagel you were loved unconditionally by all who knew you.
