Big Man is home and resting.

His front left paw pad has an obvious injury that we need to keep clean. Hopefully in a week or so it will heal with some antibiotics and pain meds. Oh and a cone of shame🤦🏻‍♀️

If not, it will need to be biopsied. Fingers crossed for this sweet boy and also my sanity because it has been a rough run recently.

When I did my late morning checks on everyone today, I discovered Brynn our tail amputee kitten had passed away in her sleep.

She was peacefully curled up in her favorite hammock with a full belly and no obvious signs of distress…
I’m at a loss as she had such a bright future ahead of her.

Sorry for the bummer Wednesday everyone. Please give your kitties some extra scratches in her honor.🤍

These beautiful sisters shave grown up spoiled rotten and would do well in home together or separately! As long as they have other feline siblings to play with, they will be perfectly happy.

Today, October 27th, is a separate Day of the Dead recognised as a day for people to honour the memory of their beloved pets who have sadly passed away. 💔🕊️

The main holiday is held on November 2nd, for humans. However, October 27th has become recognized by many as an additional day dedicated to remembering pets.

Today we started our temporary hours of operation to reallocate our resources to ensure we can continue providing the highest level of care to our colleagues, clients, patients and community.
~Our temporary hours of operation are 10am to 2am Monday – Sunday for incoming cases~
