What helped Duke’s owners have success in improving his severe separation anxiety? They are: • coachable• committed • consistent Your dog is capable. Are you willing to learn and put in the effort?
When owners put in the work it really shows! 🖤
Coming from a vet tech- conditioning your dog to cooperative care as early as possible is truly the missing link in vet medicine!
Training helps make your dog’s life BIGGER! It’s hard to put in the work to get to this point, but it’s also hard to take a dog out with you that’s pulling/barking/lunging on the leash and has no recall! Choose your hard! ♥️#DFW #balanceddogtraining #balanceddogtrainer #dogsofinstagram #dogtrainer #dogtraining #dallas #texas #dallastexas #love #lovedogs #dogstagram #dogtrainingtips
PUPPY OWNERS!! Get out and engage with your puppy in as many different environments as you can think of! Sometimes we over complicate “training” at this stage! It’s more about exposure to new sights, sounds, and smells WHILE staying engaged with YOU! Not saying hello to every new person and dog you encounter along the way! ♥️ You will be so happy you put in the work down the road when you have a dog that can be neutral around new people/dogs and who looks to YOU for information instead of making decisions for themselves! #DFW #balanceddogtraining #balanceddogtrainer #dogsofinstagram #dogtrainer #dogtraining #dallas #texas #dallastexas #love #lovedogs #dogstagram #dogtrainingtips
So many dog owners struggle with their dog’s anxiety so much that is affects their freedom to leave their home. I want you to know that there IS hope! There are ways to work through it and help your dog figure out how to relax without you! This was by no means a quick fix and Hunter and his owners still have work to do, but he has come such a long way in the last month! I’m beyond proud of the hours of work (and sleepless nights) his owners have put in to get him to this point!#DFW #balanceddogtraining #balanceddogtrainer #dogsofinstagram #dogtrainer #dogtraining #dallas #texas #dallastexas #dachshund #love #lovedogs #dogstagram #dogtrainingtips #separationanxiety #anxiety #cratetraining
Puppies don’t grow out of bad behaviors, they grow INTO them, which is why training is so important from the very beginning! Wesley is only 5 months old, and luckily his owners have done an amazing job working on the basics with him. They just needed some help with the little details! He’s well on his way to being an amazing adult dog!
During a Puppy 101 session we work through all the basics and any problem behaviors. You also get 10% off any future training services by booking a puppy 101 session for puppies 6-20 weeks old!

“Real life training for real life moments!” Competition level heel and obedience is flashy and cool looking, but for the average pet dog owner all we need is functional training that benefits you and your dog and allows you to live a bigger, easier life together in the real world! For me that looks like - a nice loose leash on walks, a rock solid recall, and down stays for those moments I need my dog(s) to stay safe and out of the way! What does real life training look like for you?
The tone function on E collars is often overlooked, but I find it really useful for recall/getting dogs to move my way! Your E collar sits right behind your dog’s ears so in loud environments or when they are too far for your voice to carry, they still hear the tone and know you are calling for them! Of course we pattern this over what is probably hundreds of reps, but it is an amazing tool for recall once it’s been conditioned and reinforced! Side note: Hunter is crushing it! Look at that leash drag, he is well on his way to off leash reliability!
