Amos will be attending the PetFood Forum in Kansas City May 1 - 3. He might hit the NFL draft and the NASCAR event at the Kansas Speedway also. Depends on what trucks he can hitch rides on.

There was an unfortunate cricket stampede caused by some thunder and lightning last night. They broke through the fences and destroyed the neighbors garden. Fortunately the local authorities and Tinker the Wonder Dog helped us round them up. It's quite the scene having a few thousand crickets hopping down the road. Everyone's back in their breading tubs and everything is Chirp! (No vegetables were harmed in this process.)

Great! One of the crickets, (they all have icricket phones) apparently made a reference to the worms being too orange and Twitter suspended them. I now have thousands of angry Crickets. Thanks Twitter! I think we need to move them to Critter accounts. Chirp!

Feeder Cricket Ranch has joined with Texas State University in a study of the bovine digestibility of insects. The U.S. is inching closer to allowing the high protein insect products into animal and pet food and for human consumption as they already have in Europe. We intend to release our cricket flour soon to help meet the growing demand for ecologically safe and efficient protein production. Chirp!

We are happy to announce that Amos Feeder is attending the National Pet Food Conference in Kansas City in May and the International Feed the World Conference in Quebec City, CN in June. Amos is pretty sure his relatives are one of the answers to alternative proteins. We hope to provide various examples of the proteins generated by these little protein bombs soon.
Amos is also building a lab. Crickets hang the drywall, but we never let them paint. They get the "snents." Kind of like hiccups but with giggles. Chirp!

You can tell a cricket is in charge of the weekly food order. 50 # of potatoes, 50 # cabbage, 50 # oats and 25 # of carrots (the mealworms ordered the carrots). The finest produce thanks to Shamrock Foods. What do you feed your insects? Chirp!

Our thanks to Custom Lures & Bait, Fredericktown, MO https://www.facebook.com/customluresandbait/ for helping us identify the proper size of crickets for the perch and bream fishermen. They definitely have different requirements than the lizard and other amphibian nutrition folks. Good fishin' Chirp!

IF you can identify the age of a cricket, any cricket, by looking at it; you spend way to much time with crickets. We do and we can, however, we can also provide the date of hatch for every cricket on the ranch. Can your local pet store do that? Will your crickets all be 8 weeks instead of 4 weeks and close to the end? It's hard to tell because well, crickets "chomp, chomp" up their area, if you know what I mean. Chirp!

We celebrate the daily new arrivals at the ranch. The playground gets crowded, but everyone gets along pretty well. Chirp!

Fortunately I remembered to close the gate before the snow flew. None of the livestock can wander out and get lost. However, the ranch is a balmy 90 degrees F with about 26% humdidididiity.

I thought I saw some beach balls over by the pens, but everyone was quietly eating when I hopped by. About 3,000 new crickets today, so a lot of whining about antenna pulling, etc. Kids! Chirp!

My dear friends at the USPS warned me that they could not guarantee my shipment of crickets to a customer in Idaho during the winter weather. I understood and appreciated their honestly. However, I ventured forth as they have come through in the past.

I did not anticipate that the box with "Live Insects" printed on all sides would still fit into a mailbox out by the street I guess they really meant it. I was going to add a photo, but the carnage was too great. I'm working on the sympathy cards, only 9,453 to go. RIP (2) Party Pack - Idaho, we only knew you between 4 and 7 weeks. Chirp!

Did you know??? The meal worm, (Tenebrio molitor, a species of darkling beetle) contains protein levels that mirror beef. Granted a meal worm burger has yet to catch on, but if veggies can replace meat.....

I think a little rebranding might be called for. I like the chase and the wiggly feeling in your throat, but that's just me. Chirp!

Supersize it and add cheese. Cheese and bacon makes all things consumable for humans as far as I can tell. Bacon, cheese, Tenebrio Molitor burger please.

You know those stickers of Mom and Dad and all the little ones stuck on the back of minivans? This should be ours but it needs to fit 500 or so.

Our Party Pack! is a 100 count, 4 - 7 week old cricket pack. Allows for a longer feed group. We die rather quickly, but we Party on all days that end in Y. Chirp!

Feeder Cricket Ranch purchased Bitcoin like Tesla. You might not have noticed, Chirp!
However, the ranch intends to offer cryptocurrency as payment as soon as we figure out how to do it. We put in a call to Mr. Musk, but haven't caught up with him yet to discuss it.
